@tekkenfan:: Ever heard of China??
It’s Obama’s fault that our country is a crap
@dr10jeeps:: Huge numbers of people, down here in the states, are NOT educated. Most kids leave high school with basic reading and writing skills…nothing else. They know little or nothing about history, geography, physics, biology, sociology, ethics, ect.
When the masses are getting marched into FEMA internment/slave labor camps, the only thing you’ll hear voiced from the American herd of ignoramuses is, “they’re gonna let us keep our cell phones, right?”
@Jon Wozniak well said.
As an American… I can verify this is 100% true.
As a Canadian, it does get rather tiring listening to Americans continually talk about their being the greatest country in the world. This, of course, is the product of U.S. media that focuses only on their own country to the exclusion of everyone else. For a supposedly educated country, the level of ignorance of most Americans about world affairs is truly astounding. Nevertheless, I still like ’em.
Why, are these new concepts to you!?
We Americans need to open our eyes & realize this is not very inaccurate. “One world one people”.
You have no idea how half-assed your generalization and knowledge of Australia is… The fact that you assume that all australians don’t like diveristy when the people who “actually” don’t like diversity in australia are a minority makes me want to suggest that you go do some more learning…
Amen
The Europeans and Australians don’t like diversity, though they said they did before their beautiful white countries had 10% nonwhites or more.
Europe is not liking the multiculturalism anymore. The only European countries that embrace diversity have never experienced it. Kind of like whites who say they embrace diversity and multiculturalism, yet they live in predominately white neighborhoods.
People dislike liberals because their ideas and policies never work. Liberals either create problems where none existed, or they make it worse.
When did I say the US needed to be the most powerful?
When did I say the US needs to solve the world’s problems?
Why do we need to be the most powerful? Why can’t we just be an isolationist country and let the citizens arm themselves and drill for our own resources here and let the world solve their own problems? Why do we need to solve the world’s problems?

The US is definitely the most powerful country in the world.
However that’s not necessarily the same as being the greatest country in the world.
By the time the Atomic Bomb was dropped, the only thing that prevented a surrender before hand was the Emperor’s delusions of divine grandeur preventing him from admitting he was wrong. Parliamentarians (who were punished in the aftermath, unlike Hirohito) were all willing to surrender. The only thing that stopped them was needing Hirohito to agree, and, at the time, all surrender agreements involved Hirohito being held accountable. This was later dropped, but not before 2 cities were destroyed.
:’) oh my
World peace brooooo! ;D
No comments on the actual show?
Try watching them before saying they’re stupid.
And it ended the war!!! Read some history you dumb ass!!
Huh????
@pkn4lyfe Canadians smell funny.
Please try to understand this…
The 1 percenters, Corporate criminals, banksters, NWO… whatever you want to call them…they do not see the 99% as actual people or individuals. To them, the 99% are simply viewed as “The Human Resource”…nothing more. So when they destroy millions of lives with wars, abhorrent business practices, ect… they don’t view it as lives destroyed. If those things resulted in turning a tidy profit, and they always do, it’s viewed as shrewdly using the human resource
Who cares what the greatest country in the world is? Who gets to define “great”? And who said America has always been the greatest? Slavery until the mid 1800’s, equal voting rights came in the 1950’s, etc. etc. There are hundreds of reasons why America was never the greatest country, but there are also reasons for making it a great country. Just because Jeff Daniels, an actor, says something on a TV show, doesn’t make it fact. Likewise, “America is the best” is also an opinion. Everyone’s wrong
I would encourage everyone to Google ” kids for cash scandal ”
It’s a story about a privately owned, prison for profit, juvenile facility.
Greatest country in the world? Really?
America sucks :) GO CANADA!
By the year 2020 our country will have paid, JUST IN INTEREST, one Trillion dollars to the banksters that were more than happy to finance our post 911 stupidity. When you look at the taxes taken out of your paycheck, realize that about 2% of it goes towards education and close to half of it goes towards defense… and a very healthy chunk of that is the banksters vig.
AND STILL YOU PLEAGE ALLIGENCE
IGNORENT MORONS
but you know what, let the big red white a blue cock rape you in the ass every day for the rest of your pathetic lives.
let it tell you via propiganda that the brown baby kill people so B2 bombers must drop bombs and nuclear war heads on brown babies
let it tell you that we fight for something that does not exist any were on earth
let it tell you that you are in great country when children die on the streets more then 75% of the population are or will be incarserated

There are so many alternatives that you ignore it would fill the page.
Other countries understand that taking care of it’s people is an investment in the future of the country. The only place you could move to to get less from the gov’t is a Muslim country in the mid-east.
That is not true. Europeans and Australians want nothing to do with us since Bush. The people flocking here are mostly from third world and Muslim countries because we are still one step ahead of those countries. The rest of the world is passing us by.
I agree with him because I believe this country can be so much better and has the potential to be great again but the be in denial and say that we are still the greatest country on earth is the problem.
Well, at least you can admit that it`s just a TV show, and not go full retard over it, good for you.

The Aus$ has MORE purchasing power than the US$ – so A$15 is like US$17 or so!
You sound like an angry foilhat and like most angry foilhats you like to claim that corporations run America and that American media is entirely propaganda. Next you’ll be telling me that the PNAC brought down the WTC.
Regardless, there are still more people flocking to the US than to Australia and there’s a reason for that.
Our government shouldn’t even deal with any kind of private defense contractor. Everything should be handled in house. If you take a profit out of war you can bet there would be a whole lot less of it.
I love America, I just no longer feel that we’re the greatness we used to be! We first have to admit our faults, in order to fix them.
I love my country. That being said I think you hit the nail on the head when you said this country cares for a third of a billion people. I think that is the biggest problem. Not enough people care for themselves, or take responsibility to care for themselves, and oh so few actually step up to help care for others (physically, financially, spiritually…..or any other way) We have stopped caring and look to the Government for our needs.
The truth, the end.
woww Richard Gillies is the smartest person on youtube. go be a writer/producer in hollywood and make millions of dollars Richard, arguments/opinions don’t make sense if the don’t make cents
Those are just some vague and cliched arguments which could easily be applied to any country on Earth. They’re good things to point out, but they occur EVERYWHERE. You haven’t seen bribery or corruption until you’ve visited Asia and the Middle East, for instance. We had the similar debates in Oz about the minimum wage not being enough to live on, even though our is over $15 / hour. But the purchasing power of the AU$ is different to that of the US$ so it’s like comparing apples & oranges.
More vague and unsubstantiated claims there. Where does this figure of “millions” come from? How many of the victims of America’s wars were civilians and how many were soldiers? Please show me proof of your claim that any of America’s wars were fought solely to improve the bottom line/s of certain corporation/s. Sorry to do this, but I am the sort of person who likes to actually see some proof.
Sure, the same military contractors that are keeping dipshits like you from speaking Farsi. Try living in a world run by the Chicoms and the religious fanatics in Iran and Pakistan. Careful, you might get your wish, you ungrateful asshole.
This is just what the world actually thinks of America. You have a shit country and a government in the pockets of military contractors that would sooner cut social programs than it would cut anything out of its bloated defense budget.
You aren’t period. You aren’t even the freest anymore. You have a government that is completely beholden to its wealthy donors and which doesn’t give a damn about its people. You have appalling social and healthcare systems, and a tax code that is designed to benefit the wealthy at the expense of the poor. Your mainstream media does no critical analysis at all, you’re left with establishment channels, and Fox News.
No they haven’t. America has terrible social policies, an unregulated financial sector etc. and a political system that exists largely on legalized bribery, the second most corrupt in the developed world.
The minimum wage in America is not even enough to live on, and thousands die each year as a result of not having health insurance (every other western nation has universal healthcare). America has become a vile nation that wages war for the benefit of vested corporate interests.
