I must say, in the social, overall “free” aspect for this country, we’re about to hit our prime, and we are already in our prime technologically and artistically.

Joe, you obviously don’t realize that the Federal Reserve (private bank) has devalued our money by more than 90% in 100 years. The value of the money continues to decline, but everything is increasing in price because the money simply isn’t worth as much as it used to be, except for wages that is. America used to be a good country, before we starting letting bankers run things, now we are on the verge of World War 3, they are taking our guns, and DHS has over 2 billion bullets, all for us!

The USA needs to focus on itself before being “Charitable” that’s common sense. They disregard funding for their own scientific exploration and growth. Depends how you look at it.. America still holds the superior air power as well as navel power. This is what i mean by strongest.. not as far as a 50 million man standing army. Those are useless when you loose the sky.

I’m glad that you like paying more taxes, but you appear to be the exception, the majority of people do not want to pay more in taxes. Also, you appear to be unaware of the “Laffer curve” GOOGLE it. All the experts in the field of economics all agree with it. The point of disagreement is at what point does increasing taxes result in decreasing revenue? Do you like to gamble with the economy?
He controls congress doesn’t he? And congress has taken America hostage and Obama has done nothing but compromise with them, over and over and on everything. Have John Boehner and his acolytes compromised at all in return and done anything for him or for the American people? Not in any way, shape or form have they done so.
I want more taxes too, taxes are ridiculously low. Bring back Clinton taxes and things will get better, better yet bring back Eisenhower taxes and the country will flourish.

The country is too liberal, and like the fall of the Roman Empire, so too will the USA fall if it doesn’t put on the brakes. We allow mass immigration, and don’t have rules about speaking English, that’s why our literacy ratings are down. English is a 2nd language for a huge part of the USA. Other countries only let you in if you have a skill they need. We are dumb.

If the gay marriage law passes, then it will force the law to allow EVERYONE to marry anyone. Even multiple partners. If all you have to do is love someone, and say you are “equal” then game over. The law will have no choice but to allow incest, and polygamy. I saw a TV show about brothers and sisters that love each other. It will happen under an “equality” law about marriage. Even my smart gay friends don’t want the gay marriage law to pass. You, like most Americans are naive.

It has potential, but it’s being wasted quickly, and Obama is helping it along, he’s not supporting the educating and informing of other people.
