Sounds to me like people are attacking the architecture of the structure you are a part-of. Sounds to me like you are tying your ‘soul’ (your status, your personality, your ‘good name,’ whatever) TO that structure, which WILL crumble (you gotta sleep sometimes).
Just keep on being honest (reporting WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS, not ‘the hidden evil of the executives minds which MUST be their reason for existing’ or whatever lies you’re tempted to propagate), and what you need will be taken care of.
