Seconds after he almost killed a cop during a police pursuit, Anthony Warren lost control of this vehicle as it overturned, ejecting him out the window and leaving him unconscious on the side of the road. But he immediately went from attempted murder suspect to victim of police abuse as five Birmingham police officers pounced on him, beating him mercilessly even though he was already showing no signs of life. The five officers have since been fired after a dashboard camera video surfaced this week in court. Now Warren has filed a $100000 claim against the city over the injuries he sustained from the beating, which could have resulted from the accident rather than the beating. The cop didn’t jump in front of Warren’s vehicle. Warren tried to swerve into the cop. That’s not nearly the same thing.

The most tragic thing here is that lower level magistrates and judges are sometimes quite biased as well (siding with police) … and in those cases, justice doesn’t die, it’s never born into the process in the first place.
You see, one of the main problems with letting absolute dickheads get into a uniform is that some of them and most of their supporters tend to have this: All police/authorities are “saviours of mankind” outlook. Worse still, governments and the media often promote police as special and deserving of more rights than others. This is incredibly counter-productive. But things are slowly changing, at least in Australia they are.

Nice, Officer needs your help; A former Shediac Town Police officer who was ordered to work a double shift or he would be fired was shot in 1981, 5 times and left to die on the school grounds of LJR High School. The assailant fled turning on the police cruiser’s emergency roof lights. Several police cruiser met the assailant escaping and none made an arrest, allowing him the time he needed to escape and dump the police cruiser in the Northumberland Straight, 5 Km east of Shediac at Cap Bimet.

Our entire criminal justice system is corrupt and rotten to the core. It’s not as bad as some places, and it’s a lot worse than other places. Cops lie all the time to put people away. Prosecutors press charges for political and personal gain. Our criminal justice system has very little to do with actual justice.
