A 42-year-old Louisiana man has died, apparently of a broken neck, after being pulled over by a police deputy. A dash cam video shows Deputy Chris Sturdivant of the Livingston Parish Sheriffs Office with his arms around Adam Stogners neck after the officer suspected the man of putting a small quantity of drugs into his mouth. Stogner died along Interstate 12. Preliminary results from the coroner show that Stogner died from severe coronary artery disease, an enlarged heart, and a fracture of the hyoid bone in his neck. According to CBS affiliate WAFB, the sheriffs office says Stogner did not put his truck in park when he was pulled over. This may have led the officer to believe Stogner was planning to flee the scene. And the deputy believed Stogner was impaired.

Not all of video is shown. Expect more from FOX NEWS. Disappointed. The deputy was defending himself against a man who felt no pain and was breaking the law. Glad the deputy was there to protect us from harm! He did not KILL the man, the man chose to KILL himself.
Piss off dickhead, if that man was trying to harm that police officer, or even threatening to harm him, or under the suspicion of being violent by the officer, he would have called backup in, and they would have arrived well before he ever would have broken the mans neck.
If people such as yourself continue to cover for these asssholes, and assume that, unlike almost every other goddamn policeman out there, that this guy isnt power happy, or an adrenaline junky, and that his fucking fuse blew and he killed a guy, who even in the clips they show, was only trying to keep whatever was in his hand concealed with no intention od injuring anybody.

The deputy involved was a Marine. Trust me, if he had wanted to break the suspect’s neck, it would not have taken so long. As for your use of spelling and grammar, you appear to be the one that needs to use their own brain. Or do you have any left.? Remember, drug use does cause the brain to not function as it should.

The “analyist” pretends that swallowing drugs is perfectly harmless. In many cases it’s not. Should the container rupture, all of those drugs would get released and cause an overdose. Cops not only try to prevent people from swallowing things to prevent the destruction of evidence, but to keep people from killing themselves. As such, the cop was completely right to forcefully attempt to stop the man, and if the man resisted to such a point that he got his neck broken, that’s not the cops fault.

And then, that “non fatal break of a small bone in the throat” is what killed him because the person is still dead.

This officer followed proceddure, and th eoffecer did nothibng wrong, and a man ended up dead. He is totally responsible. He should die himself.

Why is it when a cop brutilizes a citizen it’s always an accident? But, when a citizen just moves the wrong way there is like 9 chargen on them?
