The pilot did nothing wrong, he was being engaged by enemies w/ rpg’s that put the children in the van to try to make it so they couldnt be engaged. NEWS FLASH: Enemy combatants that use innocent civilians as shields are the ones that are the murderers. If i was shooting at you from behind someone I’m responsible for that persons death not them.

@pastorg22 Talk about betraying one’s nation, I’d say that Bush and the Neocons did a great job of this when they started this illegal war based on lies. Bush had so much honor for our constitution that he said “it’s just a piece of paper”…indicating that the constitution wouldn’t allow him to do what he wanted…so he effectively tore up the constitution and did what he wanted anyway. He swore an oath to uphold and defend it…not tear it to shreads.

Optimists can argue that the reason very few soldiers have been prosecuted is because there’re not many offenses to prosecute. And how do we know? We don’t because either it’s not reported or we never get the video. Soldiers come home wiht traumatic memories of the war, but most of it’s swept under the rug.
I’m not sure I would call them optimists. Perhaps war hawks. It’s not hard to see that this is a problem of discrimination. It’s next to impossible in war to discriminate effectively.
