Bribe-collection from Kaushambi’s street-traders for the local police is filmed here. This collection (presently, Rs 20/ upwards per person per day) goes on every night and no trader, however poor, is spared. A full-time bribe-collector goes round every hawker and gathers the money and presents each day’s taking to the local police station.

Indian cops and politicians are the most corrupt in the world. I still cant understand why we dont lynch them and instead re- elect them. Besides-we pay bribes because we always do something illegal. We are to blame.Givers and takers are both corrupt.
