For the reverend to say he was “beaten” was a stretch. Sure the cops forced him to the ground and held him there until they had the handcuffs on him, but he had begun struggling against their efforts to arrest him. Cops are trained to do that sort of thing if someone they arrest begins to physically struggle or resist. I saw no “beating” going on in the video. The reverend damages both his own credibility and that of all other clergy by claiming he was beaten. How sad.
