The camera man and grounds care taker were abusive to say the least towards the policeman and investigator, and as such they should of been arrested and jailed. In jail they would meet up with hands on cell mates and i am sure they would of been polite as can be knowing that a cell mate wouldn’t put up with their abusive style of behavior and speach. Be it were me i would of shoved that cam corder up past that camera man’s Hemeroids and slaped that care taker silly.

actually it’s trespassing. If you go on someones property without consent you are in fact there illegally cop or not. a police officer must have a warrant and probable cause. the only exception is an emergency or in pursuit of a criminal but they can’t just make things up. not unless they want to be sued.
that cop is demanding he turn off a camera but he doesn’t have a right to do that. You said if they had nothing to hide they should let them see the property but what about the cop that is wearing a uniform and in a position of power. never should a cop be “afraid” to be video taped. I’m not defending these people if they are breaking some law but if a cop is afraid to be video taped maybe he is a corrupt cop.

That’s not the way it works. Rights mean nothing if people do not exercise them. It is not a citizen’s duty to make the job of government easier – it is the other way around.

Which clearly doesn’t apply here because, as described in the video, the part of the property that contains the horse shelter can not be easily seen from outside the property. In fact, the shelter being a building with three walls and thus the interior is not easily visible should rule out the open fields doctrine.

It does apply – trespass law might prohibit the police from entering the property w/o a warrant, but searching an open field is not a “search” per the fourth amendment.

Cops have no right to privacy when they’re in public or on YOUR land. They are public servants. These assholes should do time for these civil rights violations. This is the kind of cop ignorance that gets people killed.
