Na’Tee: Firearm


I’mm keep it real… This was one of the first songs I recorded after I was released from jail 2 weeks ago. The video basically depicts me getting released and going straight to the booth. The conept of the song defends my right to bare arms in 2days day in times even though I am a convicted felon. It’s like speaking fronm the viewpoints of thousands if not millions of people who live in violent poverty stricken areas who have no form of protections. Police abuse us and do more harm to us then protect us so we keep weapons to protect our families… I’m speaking for those of us who don’t use them recklessly to endanger others…. Even though I’m not able to carry a weapon since I was convicted as a felon last year (and I haven’t since then) I want people 2 understand why one coming from the area i did and feeling as unprotected by police as i do would feel its a death wish if we don’t carry a weapon. Also, just to defend myself, in case this song is viewed other than the way it is intended to be. In this recent case casing me to be arrested, I was the driving 2 a party with 3 people in my car when I was stopped by the police and my car was searched. I was unaware that one of the passengers in my car… a long time friend turned ex-friend Zack had a gun, 10 x pill, and 13 bags of weed. Instead of being a man and taking his charges he started crying and denying the shit causing everybody in the car go to jail for his possesions. The trip part is he know’s I’m already a
