These officers had ZERO reasonable suspicion. Justifying the cops’ actions based on a PERCEIVED threat is the same as justifying the cops’ actions to detain, harass, and violate persons who lawfully carry guns.
The 2A is as important as the 1A.

That was the point I made in my article: “[a Metro PIO] finally told me that tourists won’t be bothered if they are not in a gang and if they don’t have gang tattoos….
According to Nevada law, the characteristics of a gang: “(a) Has a common name or identifying symbol; (b) Has particular conduct, status and customs indicative of it; and (c) [engages in felonious activity].”
COERCION IS A FELONY AND IS WHAT THE COPS WERE ENGAGING IN – thus THEY are the GANG!

@benjaminbartholomew Then they should be stomping out open carriers – everyone knows how dangerous weapons are and anyone who openly carries one is just ASKING for trouble. Bottom line, there was no probable cause for these guys to have been detained and violated.
