Atlantic Beach Police Chief Eric C. Lewis following this videogrpher and then initiating a traffic stop for doing nothing more than documenting Lewis’ criminal acts and harassing actions. Lewis’ excuse that he conducted the stop because of my “presenting and pointing” is ludicrous. Its scary to have a police chief claim that he could confuse an ultra-compact Nikon camera for a grenade launcher. Town Manager William U. Booker, Jr. continues to refuse to take any action to protect the rights of citizens from Lewis’ abuses of his police power. Note Lewis’ threat to stop this videographer anytime a camera is documenting his actions in public. The only “suspicious activity” going on here is Lewis’ own activity. The US Department of Justice has been notified. I will post updates if Lewis carries out his threats against me.
