[..YouTube..] I realize this is a parody, but incidents like this one here are happening all too often. They very often screw up, since every podunk PD across the country has SWAT teams.
SWAT teams are NOT to be utilized for this type of thing, according to the founders of the original SWAT unit on the LAPD. They’re only for barricaded, armed suspects or armed militants who are resisting – that’s all. What’s also disturbing are all the PD’s who get lavish DHS funds to pay for stuff like this.
