what’s really fucked up is that i just read that johannes mehserle’s girlfriend gave birth on jan 2, 2009 only hours after mehserle killed oscar grant. grant was pleading for his life and telling the officers that he has a child at home right before he was shot, and yes he was already handcuffed and had one officer’s knee on his neck pinning him to the ground while on his stomach.
This event was an execution of an unarmed black man who posed no physical threat. the officers’ lives were not in danger therefore deadly force was not necessary. plain and simple.

johannes mehserle now has a newborn child. he will not do any time for this execution. the bart police are claiming that he accidentally shot grant with his firearm but thought he was firing his tazer instead. his child will have a father for many years to come. can’t say the same for oscar grant’s child.
I bet there will be riots over this one, if he gets off!
You know what’s truly sad outside of an innocent man losing his life? This piece of shit COP will most likely get a VERY lenient sentence, or worst, they’ll let him walk away.

Oscar Grant III, was fatally shot in the back by a Bay Area Rapid Transit (B.A.R.T.) police officer Johannes Mehserle. Mehserle has been arrested in Nevada on a charge of homicide, 12 days after. Johannes Mehserle, 27, was being held without bail, pending his extradition on a California warrant.
He waived his right to contest extradition and will be transported to California.
Mehserle, has been accused of shooting Oscar Grant, in the back while lying face down on a train platform

The last elderly woman attacked in Atlanta, was perpetrated by 3 cops, Gary Smith, Gregg Junnier, Arthur Tesler, now serving 12, 10 & 5years respectively, for murder.
If this murderer doesn’t pay the consequence for the damage that he has done it is because the system is corrupt from the inside out through and through. It makes me sick to see what this scum did. I hope there is some sense of justice that comes of this. I would like to see the death penalty in this case. Johannes Meserle should die for what he has done.
