BERSIH 2.0 rally – Police fire tear gas at peaceful marchers.

9 July 2011. Citizens of Malaysia peacefully marching on the streets of Kuala Lumpur calling for clean and fair elections are met with tear gas fired by Malaysian police. Video cuts off because we had to run. www.malaysiakini.com We wanted to do it at Stadium Merdeka but the police blocked off all entry and diverted us at every turn. Eventually we headed to Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC). We joined Bersih 2.0 for one reason – to demand a fair and clean election and to exercise our democratic and constitutional rights. We recorded everything to present the truth people need to know. We are not from any political party. We only hope for a better future for our country. Please spread these videos if you believe what we believe in – freedom, democracy, liberty and fairness. Full story: puppybunnytalk.blogspot.com
