9 July 2011. Citizens of Malaysia peacefully marching on the streets of Kuala Lumpur calling for clean and fair elections are met with tear gas fired by Malaysian police. Video cuts off because we had to run. www.malaysiakini.com We wanted to do it at Stadium Merdeka but the police blocked off all entry and diverted us at every turn. Eventually we headed to Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC). We joined Bersih 2.0 for one reason – to demand a fair and clean election and to exercise our democratic and constitutional rights. We recorded everything to present the truth people need to know. We are not from any political party. We only hope for a better future for our country. @carls9759 Jump to 0:25, after the first shot you can see smoke rising from the gun that shot the first canister coming from the police line on the left of the video. After the second shot, the first canister that was fired landed on the far right of the group, blocking the road to the right, forcing us up Jalan Bukit Nanas. I wish I had recorded more, but I had to stop to retrieve gas masks for my girl and I from my backpack and run – our survival instinct/emergency response kicked in.

ini semua niat tersembunyi anasir2 tertentu jer nak malukan malaysia…..ramai yang pergi pun nak rakam apa yang polis buat…korang buat kecoh tak salah ka…negara ni ada undang-undang….bukan negara pasir sebutir…belajar jer tinggi2 tapi tak boleh fikir….
