Police are here to protect us and serve we the people and it is not the other way around. Authority loving cops are the biggest problem we face as a rational society and police need to be kept in line as much as possible. Accountability is a way we can start. We should be restricting their powers as much as possible and going after them for abusing any of their privileges. They are civilians like you and me and should not be held above the law.

not all cops are bad. I find it irritating when people call ALL cops corrupt. What about the cops that risk thier lifes to save others? Do people only see the negative? The worst cops are in Shasta lake, California. They lie, cheat, harass, destroy vehicles, pierce tires, gang up with family members and more. They are allowed to do whatever they want like gangsters. They SUCK.
after alot of thought, i can think of one and only one time in my life that ive known someone who really needed the cops. his name was K. Ross, liquor store owner. his store was right next to hucks gas station where all the local cops hang out. a guy ran in and forces Ross into the freezer, killed him and then himself. all this with the police watching from hucks parking lot. oh yeah then they sat in the parking lot for 8 hours with their guns and loudspeakers asking the dead men to come out.
