The sheriff’s dept is trying to pass of the Steffey case as just a “out of control” inmate. But its hard to do if you have women coming forward claiming the same type of abuses. I know some law enforcement are garbage, with little, if any, college education, in most cases, but being fair, there are some cops/deputies, that are very decent, that do good jobs, with little to no appreciation or recognition for what they do that’s good every day, just not Stark County deputies because Sheriff Swanson is a corrupt loser of low to no moral character setting the tone and policies.
I would even go so far, normally, of saying the bad cops sexually abusing women are probably a rogue click, that it isn’t all Stark Co deputies, but I can’t even say that. This is because their well established perverted pleasures, in no way, can be kept quiet. Gossip within the dept is known. I also blame those who don’t take part but are aware of this conduct. Indifference is just as evil. Those deputies have still failed to do their job by turning a blind eye to it. .

Apparently these male officers have lost their souls. There is no way a man should/would participate in this abuse of a woman. The right thing to do would have been to refuse to participate no matter the reprisals.
I have video posted of a officer who was NOT involved in stripping Steffey, but video shows him heading down the hall toward her cell…..
BUT THEN the video loses one of its time stamps, and then blurrs, and when it comes back on the hall is empty, and ONE SECOND has passed by on the clock!!

I can’t believe these cops were found not guilty. It makes me sick that these cops still have their jobs. These cops are essentially serial rapists in uniform. Imagine a woman who knows about these cops and finds herself arrested by them.

Its easy to see WHY they weren’t found guilty, if you see how the “investigation” was done.
For instance the investigator didn’t go GET the evidence, what evidence they got was GIVEN to them by the sheriff’s dept.
If anyone gets in trouble, just ask if you can give the cops whatever evidence you want…must be nice to control all the evidence against you!
Plus the BCI spellchecked the sheriff’s reports and reported them as FACT, even as they caught the cops in LIES!
WHY Swanson was re-elected is beyond me, all I can guess is voters don’t have a clue.
As for the FBI, don’t hold your breath, from what I have found their “investigation” isn’t going to be any better than the BCI’s.
As a matter of fact the local FBI has given Swanson awards of some kind in the past, so you can bet he has some leverage with them too.

Steffey has settled with the county a couple days ago, but is still suing the jail contractors.
The paper reported that the county had already put aside their $100,000 portion of the settlement that the insurance wouldn’t cover.
GEE, WHY would you put it aside on a case you said had no merit, and that the police were innocent in?!?!?

This was posted back in May, since then I have found out even more about this case.
And the REALLY shocking thing is how many people are involved in covering this up. Even one of the papers printed something they KNEW were lies.
When I called them on it they said to print up a rebuttal and that they would print it.
Well they haven’t printed it yet!
It’s not shocking to me because there is a tighter bond between police officers than between something as broad as a gender. And that’s mostly a bad thing, because they tend to do whatever is necessary to protect each other, often when they are morally or legally obligated to stand up against them.
i wonder what it is that turns police officers into these tinman drones.. you would think as a woman looking at this you would say to yourself this is wrong.. but the cop in her just tells her to play her position.. its really concerning to me.. how far would these officers go if their superiors gave them an order..

I don’t think the license would have made any difference. There are problems at the Stark County jail. Montgomery county handles THREE TIMES the people Stark County does and they had NO incidents.

The Sheriff has sold this story as a drunken woman. The arresting cop & the ones that stripped her said she was VERY drunk, one even said she was worst he had EVER seen.
There are a couple problems with this story.
FIRST witnesses at the scene said she was not that drunk, if at all.

Except the SECOND thing wrong with that story is that Steffey was stripped at 9:30pm.
1 1/2 hr later the second shift came in and they claim they could detect NOTHING of alcohol about her!
