Forensic science in the courtroom, sometimes it’s just all wrong.

Forensic science, should we trust it enough to put people in prison for life or even sentence them to capital punishment?

Peter Neufeld of the Innocence Project describes it as two scientifically illiterate lawyers arguing about scientific evidence with a scientifically illiterate judge so that 12 scientifically illiterate jurors can make a decision based on that scientific evidence. Can we trust forensic science?
