2012 is when the Internet will end – Part 1

In 2012, the internet as we know it today will be completely different. Big players in the ISP industry have supposedly signed contracts to implement ‘internet 2’ in 2012 – meaning free wireless internet broadband access for all, but only access to a few thousand sites (some of which you must pay for before gaining access to). This inevitably means a reduction in our freedom of expression, since the internet was originally designed to be a ‘free space’. What has to be done is wide-spread boycotting and protests against ‘internet 2’ and the censoring which is already rife amongst websites such as google and youtube.
