@northwales1969 You never have experienced combat…and this is why you make your ignorant comments. Please understand that down to the wire, US service men have proved they have are superior to other forces. Somalia, Korea, Germany, Japan, Iraq, Afghanistan everywhere.
Dont rely on videos and movies to dictate what is going on, go experience it for yourself. Im sure the UK could use a couple extra soldiers.
In fallujah, you relied on rifle, knife, and your mind. No other gadgets.
@northwales1969 And only an idiot like you would not know the uses of a 50.caliber round…please go do something with your life that will make an impact on the world instead of commenting on pages which no one will hear you or care.I did my share, step up to the plate.
@spinkicker43 1/5th of civ casualties, get real, more like 1/2 of the civilian casualties, this video proves it, look how long it took for the details to come out. How many more cover ups are there out there. American military has the worst record of any for civilian deaths and blue on blue hits. Now it’s an analogy of bigger guns, amazing how you like to alter your wording.
@spinkicker43 Yeah this video just shows how good your training is, A telephoto lense is a RPG, the pilot identifies 2 gunmen and a few seconds later he announces over the radio 5 to 6 gunmen, guess a bit basic arithmetic wouldn’t go amiss. Yeah relying on gadgets to fight, says it all.
@spinkicker43 Yeah 50 cal rounds are good against light armour, taking out sniper positions, stopping suicide car bombers by firing into engine block, or good simple long range sniping. But in hands of foot soldier, most idiotic weapon he could have, the sheer weight alone of the ammuntion makes it impractical. Plus the sheer kinetic energy of the round makes it a bad weapon in wrong hands. Yeah can take out sniper in building, but what else he take out, in building behind, or he misses.
USA ….get the fuck out of Iraq ….we do not belong there!
@spinkicker43 somalia, as in 2 downed black hawks and 3 damaged by RPG’s. Korea you had a minor involvement, Germany, without there scientists your space agency NASA would not exist, there tiger tanks where superior in every way. Japan, you had to drop Nuclear weapons on them. Iraqi armour consisted of mostly post second WWII armour. Afghanistan are made up of insurgents armed with AK’s, so yeah great achievments.
@spinkicker43 So where are ground vehicles within 100 meters to justify this shooting. I don’t need to prove anything about what I have done, as anyone can say anything about there past, take you for instance, you say you served, but just because you say it here, it does make it true.
Judging from the anti American sentiment up here, it’s very apparent that this isn’t even about CIVCAS. It’s an opportunity for cheese dick punks to get on their morale high horse and point the finger at the “evil imperialists”. Well you can get off right now because EVERY military force ever involved in combat ops have been a part of CIVCAS. Regardless of the way wiki leaks and political fags try to spin this, we don’t cruise in Helos looking for civies to kill
@spinkicker43 Operation Anaconda, Afghanistan conflict. The country doesn’t matter; our way of “shoot first, ask questions later” makes sense IF we can identify who the enemy is. There are no red coats, there are no grey uniforms. This video is proof that our military makes brash choices on determining who is an enemy. Don’t school me that I am wrong, I was there, and our military is too proud to admit mistakes. As for being involved with Iraq, just look up “Lead up to the Iraq War” on wiki.
@VibraniumKing its one thing for a civilian to come into the line of fire, its another to be poorly identified from a distance, confusing what is a rifle and what is a camera. Perhaps more money should be put into better zoom lenses. The navy commercials show these great ads of them zooming in on a fly, where was that technology in all of this?
@kotus78 You never answered my question…what branch, and now how about you send me your dk614…
NYTimes 3-26-10 Gen. Stanley McChrystal: “…in the nine-plus months I’ve been here, not a single case where we have engaged in an escalation of force incident and hurt someone has it turned out that the vehicle had a suicide bomb or weapons in it and, in many cases, had families in it. …We’ve shot an amazing number of people and killed a number and, to my knowledge, none has proven to have been a real threat to the force.” sign the Justice for Bradley Manning Petition petitiononline
@northwales1969 Send me the link to the facts, or you can look up IBC.com to prove yourself wrong. Secondly prove to me Americans have killed more civillians than anyone else. Until you state obvious facts and backing for the facts I will not believe this statement.
Amazing how originally it was an analogy, what kind of idiot would state that the rifle in his hand is bigger when there is a supercarrier parked behind his house?
@northwales1969 Well when you put on that flight helmet, and look down that little tiny screen and then say all this to me, I can believe you, until then you obviously have no idea what you are talking about.
@northwales1969 In the hands of an infrantry this is used only for hard skinned targets, IE vehicles etc. But can be used in a practical way. In an urban environment fighting insurgents, if they dont run they will take cover. Cover being a wall, a car, or a fence. With ten rounds a magazine, and about four magazines per person, it is only 2 pounds.

@northwales1969 WW2? Was not a great achievment? Somalia was, Korea was, Vietnam was, technology has been passed from war. But then again, how about you tell me of the great achievments of other countries, and explain to me why they are not the worlds super power….
@northwales1969 The ground vehicles arrived shortly after correct? Meaning that they were in the area, oh you don’t have to explain anything to me, you just don’t have to lie that’s all. And I can tell how your lying by how you are handling this situation.
@spinkicker43 8 minutes after the murders took place. How am I lying in this handling of this situations. You don’t see me going around on the videos of this shooting saying i served as MARSOC, so who is the lier here.
@spinkicker43 Now why would someone look up IBC.com which is a banking site to see figures on the casualties of Iraq, take the latest figures for July, USA says 222 where Iraq gov says 532, so giving the fact that the USA likes to cover up most the deaths then it is a very safe bet to say at least 1/2 if not more. This video proves it, look how long it took to come out. Took the news agency who hired these reporters 2 years to find out, so NO the usa does publish the true civillian death toll
@spinkicker43 What a surprise, still trying to justify these murders, if they can distinguish weapons from other objects then these pilots should not be serving in this role. Just another pathetic attempt by you to justify this.
@spinkicker43 Somalia was a skirmish not a war, and you got ur ass kicked by rebels with AK’s and RPG’s, so much for the might of the US gadgets. Vietnam, another horror story for USA, oh look they had AK’s again and used your bombs against you, even had simple bamboo traps, so much for the might of USA again. So only claim there is Korea. You mean like the Huns or Romans, or the UK who ruled 1/3 of the world at one time, something USA will never achieve
@spinkicker43 They have a lot of hard skinned vehicles these insurgents. Yeah very practical in urban enviroments like Iraq or Afghan, where the buildings are primarily breeze block or mud. The sheer power of the round means it will not only take out the target but also whoever is the next building or 2, or if misses who knows where the round will end up. Oh by the way, the designer behind Beowulf is British
i am not surprised they are relaxed. i would be too if i know that there’s a 30mm canon in my hand, i am 300m above ground, there’s nothing can shoot me and i see every enemy’s move clearly
btw, why Americans haven’t won this war already with such equipment ? they could wipe out thousands of those ak-47 guys with that single apache
