Absolutely – right on the mark. It’s not as if these are private communications – they are do do with all of us. The US is tapping our phones, our emails, our communications, looking under our clothes and groping our genitals. And we should give the ones who are creating this nightmare immunity from scrutiny? I don’t think so.
Hillary Clinton shuts up about Israel, because she is aware that if she would blow the whistle, Israel will dump all the missing links, including 9/11, on us.
If Israel goes down, they will take all the corrupt governments with them.
That is what Wikileaks is telling us.
A very good video! It is the media in general and sites as Wikileaks specially that are the ‘defenders in the last line’ of fairness in politics. Wikileaks revellead important facts. It is necessary that such media report on it when a governments (or corporations) trespass laws themselves. On the other side, regarding the US diplomacy leaks, one can ask if these should have been published (even when it is interesting). However: the current foxhunt for Assange is not in order I think.
One last point: The USnow is beeing critisized for the latest Wikileaks affair. The outcome will be interesting. But it is only in really democratic countries like the USA, that have a free press, that these things can be published. Therefore, I think that Assange should not be arrested. However, there should be a discussion in society about how far the media should go reporting on ‘internal diplomacy. issues’.

absolutely spot on Sam. I can appreciate your approach at looking how Wikileaks could have been formed. What caused someone like Bradley Manning to do what he did? The destruction of trust between the public and the government is exactly what caused it. The illegal war in Iraq is a great point, but also Obama’s attempt to ‘look forward’. Great, albeit short, show!
Agreed 100% you reap what you sow. Let the disclosures of dirty laundry continue until we see the real criminals subject to justice.

The documents showed that US troops continued to find chemical weapons and labs for years after the invasion, including remnants of Saddam Hussein’s chemical weapons arsenal — most of which had been destroyed following the Gulf War.
There are numerous mentions of chemical and biological weapons in the WikiLeaks documents, however the U.S. media appear only interested in those portions of the leaked material that highlight actions that are viewed as embarrassing for the U.S. military

@00Billy I’m wondering whether Bradley Manning was also a scapegoat and has been already convicted by what passes as the US media. Lawyers have been using that technique for decades to win convictions.
