“this country is a blessing to all citizens here” True. And, sorry, it is a curse for at least three out of four people in the world. It is not Americans, it is the system you have chosen to have, or I should rather say the system you do not know you are choosing to have. Maybe it is time for you to acknowledge that “international interests”, writ USAmerican, means “grab it all for us”. This would be a good beginning, in line with your best and frayed traditions.

There are so many people now who live with the expectation that the government or the people or the universe somehow owes them school, healthcare, or God forbid even a job. In this free land you are entitled to pursue happiness and thus reap the rewards of your own labors.

To be fair, there’s always the chance we might be the generation that makes the Zeitgeist movement work if the baby boomers don’t get it to work. It depends on how many people will be able to realize what’s inherently wrong with crony capitalism before the next crash happens… As an 18 year old I’m glad I’m not the only one apart of this generation that knows the truth about whats happening.
We are the worst generation. I’m 19, and even I acknowledge this. Lets be realistic. Half of our generation is smoking weed to horrible rap, drinking until they end up in rehab, and are droping out of High School and College as we speak.
