What do Russians think of Greta Thunberg?

They don’t hate her. The difference is that the Russian is not afraid to say it as it is, while the Western media is trying not to offend. All the political correctness and all that.

She had become a mouthpiece of environmental groups.

An aggressive young lady from a privileged background. Probably believes strongly in the environment issue, but pretty naive about the world around her.

As someone who spends a lot of time in Africa. Her comment “You stole my childhood” left me stunned. You know whose childhood had been stolen?

This boy’s that is preparing the cocoa used in her evening chocolate drink and Mars bar. FYI “Fair trade” means the farmers get a good deal. Does not mean it was not grown, havested and packed by a child.

These children that mine coltan used to make her mobile phone. Ruining the environment in the process.

It is them that had their childhood stolen, not hers.

She is just naive like the rest of them.

I Had close the comment section because many people tend to be shallow minded and incapable of seeing the bigger picture.

I blame myself by assuming that people that care so passionately about the environment will actually know something about it.

So what has Greta got to do with the suffering children?

Well she is either naive or a hypocrite. The last two images are next to each other intentionally.

First is of children mining Coltan, a mineral that is essential for mobile phones. Children hard on their luck, deforest acres and acres of rainforests in Africa in the process so that we can keep getting new cool phone every year.

The last photo is of her with a sea of mobile phones. Just the ones in the picture had cost a couple of acres of rainforests. But there they are shouting that adults had stolen their childhoods, enjoying fruits of stolen childhoods of others and deforestation.

That is mobile phone alone. Then your chocolate and more.

Not one of so called activists will part with their phone or hot cup of cocoa.
