WAC Tampa gets profiled by tampa police and security for simply walking through an event at first and then after going on public property, we are told to leave the area by the police officer and threatened with arrest, violating the first amendment

Why did you leave? If you leave when they are the ones at fault, you have empowered them over your inherent rights. That guard was trying to instigate.
St Pete cops are always remitting free speech. In this retirement city the old folks would rather the government take care of them than actually have rights. I wish I didn’t live here. I appreciate you all trying to stick it to the man. I’d love to join you out there someday or learn more about WeAreChange.
we left the supposed private property zone and went out on public property right outside the event entrance, when we stood out there the lady police officer came back (sadly didn’t get it on film) threatened us with arrest for now just standing on public property, she said it was Tampa’s city ordinance that if your not in motion (which we were) you cant protest. We told her it violation of the first amendment and she said take up with the city if you don’t like it.
@ChangeStPete I’d like to see that ordinance. If it exists, it should be challenged in a federal court.

It’s time to get their “Badge Numbers & Name(s) and file written Civilian Complaints against both agencies.
