No, just for the record, I am not Korean, nor do I particularly care about Koreans. I just found it a bit surprising that people may have unintentionally forgotten that there’s ACTUAL VIOLENCE AND MILITARY AGGRESSION going on, and not only might the US be dragged in, but it’s about a country we actually trade with. Compare that to the fact the UN no longer officially claims to protect human rights on the basis of sexual orientation. How about realizing that the UN never gets anything done, regardless of what they claim to believe? The power of the internets, has at times done damage, not sure how far this one will go. But speaking your voice is always important. And it’s good to have hope, perhaps THAT’S why people are upset at the UN, because while talk is cheap, it’s better than none. Excerpt from the HuffingtonPost : “The UN has a remarkable track record of doing virtually nothing when presented with mass killings or genocide. “Never again!” was the cry after the holocaust. Since then, the world has witnessed a dozen more never agains with strong condemnation from the UN coming after the corpses pile up. A resolution of the sort that was voted on in the General Assembly is significant for its clarity of message: “It’s okay to kill the gays.” notes : Molotov Cockfail Mitchell is the Fred Phelps of youtube
eh the UN has always been worthless…. do we even need them?
Haha! I made a video similar to this on my other channel…about how people pick and choose what they care about based on the popularity of the thing. Power of the internets indeed!
UN is a paper bull.
Yes, the UN does nothing. The idea that the tragic decision could potentially promote more senseless genocide bothers me, however.
A war between the Koreas is no less important, no less scary, I agree.
The UN is worthless
I find it somewhat disgusting that, in this video, you distribute the value of human life differently among nationalities.
“nor do I particularly care about Koreans. ”
I like the point you outline in this video, but you appear to be a little too callous in how you put value upon a human life. Korean, American, Gay, Straight, all people are the same worthy of the same rights.
@ItchiroCannotDie keyword, PARTICULARLY, I don’t especially think Koreans are more valuable. But I know for almost fact they’ll be dead sooner than gays in African countries, and it involves us more directly.
if you find it disgusting that I don’t distribute value of human life equally amongst all nations and people, you’ll be disgusted by life, because that’s what life is, UNFAIR & UNEQUAL. (not necessarily divided by nations)
@ItchiroCannotDie the REAL point was, I am not Korean, so I hope nobody accuses me of bias for Koreans. That’s all.
