1. Julian Assange isn’t an American, so he can’t betray “his own country” because it ISN’T his own country.
2. Julian Assange and Wikileaks aren’t trying to overthrow the any government. They just want governments to be accountable for what they DO.

He’s just released video of Americans illegally mowing people down like grass on golf courses…women, children, journalists….doesn’t matter. They were still moving.

I love how the guy accuses Assange of breaking every law. He’s never been in the US so there are plenty of traffic laws that have remained inviolate!

Funny, people keep saying that what Assange is doing is illegal. The reason they haven’t prosecuted him is because they can’t. WikiLeaks simply posts information which is given to them through their sources. They aren’t the ones obtaining the information, so they can’t be prosecuted for that. What they’re doing is releasing information that is given to them, which is completely legal. It’s how the press works.
He cant be a traitor to the US. He isnt a US citizen. Any actions the government doesnt want its citizens to know are the ones it shouldnt be doing in the first place. There are still some people who believe the US is a free country. To preserve that illusion the US should calm down on this contradiction. Any action you dont want WikiLeaks leaking …DONT DO. We dont support it!
And to those double standard idiots who said that Assange should be killed because he is acting against the interest of the US, should reconsider their own logic lest it be used universally. If everyone who acted against the interest of the US were assasinated MOST of The US government in DC would be DEAD.

In fact, what he is doing would save the lives of countless soldiers if people didn’t have their heads in the sand about what’s REALLY going on in the world. The REAL people who are endangering soldiers are the ones marching them into harms way under false pretenses.
If it weren’t for all the deceit lies and secrecy, there would be no support of the illegal war, or reason for organizations like WikiLeaks to release these FACTS to the public in attempt to HELP them escape the propaganda and the lure for young men and women to sign up to fight for these crimes against humanity in the name of “freedom”. Yes “freedom”, the freedom to kill innocent people in secrecy.
Consider what the Third Reich would have done to the saint that leaked to the world what was REALLY happening in the Nazi death camps. Was that person not putting S.S. soldiers lives in danger? Wouldn’t the Nazi propaganda attempt to brainwash the general public that this was treasonous? In 50 years the world will look back at this time in American history in the same disgust.
