heres what it comes down to, a fifteen year old kid can carry guns illegally and commit violent crimes, they can be tazed comply or get zaped its easy it gets lethal force away and saves lives in the long run their was nothing done wrong by the police!

police where we live do in fact have to be tazed themselves for certification to carry one, not sure about other depts,,I guess Im like the lawyer in the vid,,saw nothing wrong with how they diffused the situation which could have easily gotten out of hand and turned into a huge altercation between the “fans” in the stands,,,15 or not he resisted

i’m just as big an anti-taser advocate as anyone, but i totally agree with this little thug getting tasered. the way most urban areas are nowadays, in a situation like this i would’ve split his head open with a club.
@cleve101 in a semi-riotous situation, the cops actions seem entirely justified. ever heard of mob mentality? when someone acts the way this kid was acting in an already heated environment, it could easily escalate. had the cops not reacted, odds are we’d be watching a video about 4 cops who were killed in the middle of the riot this kid provoked.

@cleve101: according to the story presented in the video, it started with two girls getting into an altercation which provoked others, and when the cops stepped in to calm the situation this guy goes screaming into the crowd like he’s going to go postal. watch the video dumbass, they’re in a hallway. the head coach would be in the gym, not in the hallway, so there was obviously a problem before this.
@cleve101: also, i don’t see where you’re going with the “…and guys with tasers came at you for assumptions”. that doesn’t make any sense atall. there IS no assumption when cops are calming a riot and you take off running toward other people screaming. why, if the cops are escorting you out with tasers drawn, would you do that? that’s as good as saying “please officer, stick that taser in my forehead!”

And what crowd was there to control? the screaming of fear because the violence of the cops using tasers?? It seems like the hostility of the crowd or ”RIOT” was triggered by fear of the cops, not the boy.
trigger by the cops? now let’s look at this reasonably: there’s a large crowd out in the hallway… at a basketball game. hmm, odd place to watch the game from right? now let’s take into account that there’s a camera filming the whole thing. if nothing was already happening, why would you film a hallway of people? YOU WOULDN’T! this allows us to deduce that SOMETHING was going on before the camera came on. plus, the kid was in custody then jerked looe and ran off. this is called resisting arrest
