No, it is not selective enforcement. The police were doing their jobs, because the store owners complained about the street-preaching. Usually, there is a lot of hate involved, such as “Believe or Die” and “Sinners Only Have Hell” and other things like that.
It was a private property open to the public. If they felt that you were in any way offending, then they can restrict you from it. And when you bring up unbelievers go to hell, people will get offended. I would.
I can understand them not wanting you there, I dont want you there. why dont you had out pamplents instead of yelling your belivies. most people dont agree with you and you seem just bitter and trying to get a rise out of people so u can post it here. yes people sin but dosnt god forgive sinners all you do is tell them thier going to go to hell. your religon is based on lies bleiving the bible is ignorant

The police are only enforcing the rights of a property owner to remove whomever he wants from his property. If he doesn’t like white Christians, that’s the property-owners own business. The police have nothing to do with who gets removed, it is simply their job to remove whomever the property-owner wishes. You don’t have a right to stand wherever you want. Maybe the dude just didn’t want you sitting on his wall.

im going to go in that guys house with a sign saying “GOD WANTS YOUR MOM TO GO TO HELL!” and not leave, and when the cops come, im going to say “how come im not allowed on the property? how come im not allowed on the property? so christians are not allowed on the property? how come im not allowed on the property?”
The difference is I do not allow the general public to enter my property 24 hours a day 7 days a week like Ybor Centro.
I believe it has a public easement and gets local tax breaks because of it.

You were not trespassed but you were the trespasser! They removed you but did not trespass you. Just a small lesson on the English language.
I just read this comment and no where does this person say they are not a Christian. This is your issue you are completely judgmental and undeniably disrespectful. You demand respect but refuse to give it to others, therefore what goes around comes around. If you were a moderately decent person you would have a handle on at least that. Until you learn what is sociably acceptable you will continually be “trespassed” or removed.

They don’t answer him becuase he’s asking stupid questions. Property can be private with public access, but the owners of the property have the right to say who can and can not be on the property.

The owners of the property used selective informant, not the cop. The cop was just doing his job by removing you from private property, that the owners didn’t want you on.
Once again you were running off business, and you being a white Christian probably had nothing to do with it. And if it did, they still had the right to have you removed for their property.

You have a right to free speech, but the property owner has the right to restrict access to whoever he chooses. Consider the possibility that the owner did not wish to be associated with street preachers, of any denomination. This “selectively enforced trespassing” is perfectly legal. If you owned a plot of commonly accessed land, and a member of a different religion began preaching his message, would you want the right to remove him from your property? The Constitution protects all.
He was on public property they can’t legally make him leave unless he is disturbing the peace. Also the cop telling him that he would talk to him unless he stopped recording was against the law. He can ask him to stop recording but he doesn’t have to. The only law breakers here are the cops.
