I think the police showed a fair amount of restraint. In my part of town in MN, USA, there would have been no politeness; no discussion. Just a quick beating, and a trip to jail. And I can’t believe that the protesters that charged at the police line weren’t grabbed, smacked around and sent to jail! Try that shit in Minneapolis and you might get your bones rearranged, and you’ll certainly go to jail too.
