The officer was “distracted” by a woman just standing there? He couldn’t focus on his job with someone watching him, huh? Maybe he needs to switch to a less public profession? Especially since he “didn’t feel safe” with a young woman loitering on the outskirts of the scene. Oooh, scary!
More people need to stand up and hold authority figures responsible for their actions … despite the possibility of unethical retaliation.

None of this is going to change until cops are trained to be cops and not paramilitary. the US police force has been turned into a paramilitary force who see anyone who isn’t in a uniform as a potential enemy or killer. That is not proper police mentality and it comes from the bad training necessitated by the bad laws.
@nearvana2003 Do you actually believe that bullshit. Cops are finally being caught doing what they always have done because of the average person is now walking around with a video camera (the smart phone). It’s disgusting. As I said in an earlier post, nothing is going to change until the police are trained differently and laws like disorderly conduct are ruled void for vagueness.
