@SOMAWEED I didn’t make a comment on the point of the video. I am rather neutral towards it. I do not care either way. I was commenting on something I wanted to point out. No need to go all caps on me, lol.
@sethmusic Cool. I know they are so fun to watch, and then watch again, and again! :-)
So in these places where it is illegal to record law enforcement on a camera…have they removed the cameras from the patrol cars, intersections, and speed traps?
They’re recording law enforcement on a camera!
A David Brin book I haven’t read yet?!
THANK YOU PENN!
Penn, i love your show man :)
one thing about the cameras open to public.
wouldn’t crime rise
because people who have malicious intent can plan their crime
since they can see there victim
Theres someone I know on Youtube who uploads cops doing wrong in NYC. Cop making an illegal U-Turn and things like that. Hilarious stuff, Penn Point should come to Showtime!
@Vindaven ITS ALL GOOD MAN JUST MAKING THE POINT :)
Whats with the gimmicky use of cameras in these blogs? Advertising? It’s the only reason I can think of. He looks like an idiot holding a camera.
Love the camera angles, good thinking, Keep it up. Youtube makes people like Pen seem more of a real life guy then you would think other wise ..well in my eye’s at least … Much love Pen Keep up the good work…… love the channel :)
@tanit why do people think a personal opinion on a minor issue of no importance negates a point
@HeisaCookie I don’t?
@tanit though thats exactly what u did
What’s the point of gamefly when you can “buy” a used game from gamestop and then get all of your money back if you return it within 7 days? I prefer free rentals over paying for that shit.
Oh yeah. That camera shit is stupid. The cops are gonna run a rampage now.
Then they shouldn’t be able to record civilians
You can watch live video of the Mexican American border on the web and then call in when you see someone crossing the border illegally.
If I remember correctly, it’s not that the law (at least in Mass.) that you cannot record police, only that the cops have been using a bullshit interpretation of existing wiretapping laws to harass or arrest citizens who document police abuses.
Adam Rifkin (as Riff Coogan) directed one of the GREATEST bad movies of all-time: “Psycho Cop Returns”. Penn, if you’re going to work on a project with him, make it “Psycho Cop III”…pretty please?
I would not expected myself to agree with this but after some thought, see the true merit in it. Privacy problems don’t really exist in public. Complete transparency is no less private than being seen in public and then talked about. The catch is, now it’s harder to lie about it. Also we need a way to keep our employees, called the police, aware of the fact that they are our EMPLOYEES. They chose to apply and some were hired. They are not special, elite or anything more than hall monitors.
Psycho Cop Returns got a 2.9 out of 10 on IMDB lol.. Thats terrible. From my experience with IMDB. you will never ever find a movie with a 10.. generally the highest i have seen a movie get is 9.3. Also i’ve noticed any movie with a rating of say 5.0 is generally soo bad i have to turn it off lol… movies 5.0 and under arn’t even worth the watch, their soo incredibly bad. This movie only got a 2.9 lmfao! is it actually this shitty? or is it truly worth at watch? first one did terrible to.
It’s so simple. They are public officials, doing a public duty, in public. What part of that sounds private?
Massachusetts cops are fucking assholes, man. It’s no wonder they wouldn’t want their actions on camera. When I was in high school they would always threaten, harass, and attempt to shake down me and my friends for ‘drugs’ that we didn’t have.
Also, check out the movie ‘We Live In Public’. It has nothing to do with police but it has a lot to do with surveillance and transparent societies.
Interesting how government says cameras make society safer… unless the cameras are pointed at the government.
i would fucking record it anyway, police brutality… ha i dont care bout those cops… they can go fuck themselves and shoot themselves and see what it feels like
Don’t police cars have cameras in them?
The idea of protection of privacy is mainly to protect the people from the government, ie the police!
If they can video the public we can video them!
I say we should mount cameras in our cars, it wouldn’t be that expensive and it could save your ass!
I would love to smoke a joint and go fishing with Penn someday. So much common sense and wisdom.
