I see. And do the policemen convicted of child abuse get relocated to another police force, or do they get fired and imprisoned? Hmmm.
This guy came up to me to object to my sign, which read “Lecture atheists on morality more, you paedophile-sheltering AIDS-monger.” He told me that I should have used the word “pederast,” (which is wrong anyway as that is defined as a man having sex with a boy, while priests have abused children of both sexes,) though he didn’t offer any objection to the message…! :P
He was the only person I saw who said anything against the protest, and as andymort said, his only comment was pedantry and incorrect anyway.
Like the two chaps below said. This guy merely had a knot in his panties and found what he thought was an excuse to take it out on someone. and he was wrong about that as well :D
The Catholic man was correct! Catholics have better schools that the crap secular state schools, so are generally better educated!

@turdbogbuster Depends what you call “better schools”. In terms of resources perhaps they are better.. but it’s debatable whether they are “better” in any other areas depending on what you consider a quality education. Personally, I believe that independence and a knowledge of current issues (social, health etc) along with acadmemics or arts makes a good education. One could argue that Catholic schools do not give that with their obvious bias and general “coddling” of students.
And even if the police do abuse children more than priests do it does not make it right. It actually sickens me that someone would use that as a defence/sort of justification.

@brownlow4lyf better results, better values. Independence of mind counts for nothing when kids are so badly failed by secular state schools that they can’t even read or write. Why do you think so many parents do so much to avoid them!
