Well I am getting my B.S., and I just transferred out to a 4 year last semester. I think I have about two, maybe 3, years left.
After that, I’ll be applying for a few agencies.
If you keep up the good work and stay away from trouble (girls lol), you’ll do just fine! haha
What state do you live in??? Why are you going to a four year, just wondering cause im considering going to a four year, i just dont know what i want to do. I want to just be done with everything, i want to get out on the road today haha.
I live in CA. I’m going to a four year college for two reasons: I would like a supervising position later in my career, and I like to have options when I retire.
I know how you feel about joining right away. I mean, every year spent in school, I’m missing valuable experience time, not to mention 65k a year. =/
You just got to be patient. That’s all.
65k, i live in boise i think the chief gets 65k, a rokkie patrol officer get 35k , geez
haha I know! I live in San Jose. Sworn in officers at step one receive almost 75K; step seven is about 116K.

Oh sorry I should’ve said this in the first comment I left as well. Do you mean “sworn in” as in without college, or do you mean with college + your first year of being a police officer in San Jose? That was kind of hard to word, sorry if you don’t understand my question.

In training, recruits get hit with pepper spray and tazed so as officers, they will know how horrible it feels and will use their better judgement in situations where they will have to decide to use it or not.

@StevenSupernatural yea shampoo will only affect your eyes and make you a little frantic for water, oc affects the respiratory system making it a bit difficult to breathe, burns the skin and they eyes, and even after you wash it completely away the sensation could last up to a week
