As a City of Boston tax payer and resident I am disgusted with this video. The cop in this video who is punching and kneeing this boy should be FIRED! I don’t care what this kid did he was restrained on the ground and there was NO need for that type of violence this is POLICE BRUTALITY on a college campus. Students and faculty at Roxbury College start making some noise and holding some rallies this deserves more media attention and that cop needs to be FIRED!

@seagypsy2 The D.A is on there side, he’s one of them because he is on the city payroll and his boss is the same boss as for the cops and thats the mayor! the city will try to bury this deep! if it go’s to court they will select a fake jury because again the city controls that too! the only way to get to the bottom of this is for the kid to request a federal investigation and file a child abuse complaint! as I understand it, according to the chief of police no complaint filed yet!

Obviously you weren’t in fear of police brutality when you stood 5 feet away to film this. No crime here. Just some kid with a long record unwilling to abide by police instructions. But people like you, and media hype will turn this into a serious incident where there is none. This is as bad as republican sensationalism on FoxNews, just the other side of the same coin. @parravision2011 No he didn’t. He never laid a finger on that kid you referenced. He had a heart condition and the department/city paid that family cause its cheaper to pay out than to litigate. I think the main problem here is you’re looking to the media for your information. Take it all with a grain of salt. All were exonerated.
@jennijsph two officers were doing what are called compliance strikes. Every academy is taught them and they even go BACK over it when you go back in for training. He wouldn’t put his other hand behind his back. We don’t know if he has a gun/knife…. Its pretty messed up from our point of view.

FROM BOTH VIDEOS THE KIDS ARMS WERE PINNED DOWN AND THEY STILL BEAT HIM! I GREW UP IN BOSTON AND IVE SEEN THIS DONE TO MANY PEOPLE THROUGH OUT THE YEARS! YOU ONLY SEE AND FEED WHATS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE POLICE! YOU MIGHT BE THAT CROOKED COP?
If you watch both videos you can see that the young man has his hands interlocked under his body and is resisting officers attempts to remove his hands and place them behind his back to apply handcuff restraints. You also see that once the handcuffs are applied behind his back all the officer stand up and stop applying strikes. You also hear the officers multiple times saying stop resisting. Pretty text book.
