Too much power is given to these slime balls and all citizens should form police watch groups in their towns or else like cancer they spread and kill!
In regard to the 1st incident, the officer has an obligation to secure the scene. It’s his job. If he didn’t do as much and something happens to any bystanders (including the press) then he would be blamed for incompetence.
However, it seems the officer “lost it” and used excessive force, in my opinion. The two newsman seemed to be complying with officers request to leave and did not offer any resistance; nor were they disrespectful. I think they were treated rudely and it borders abuse.
