So they stole an old man’s car, for expired tags- with the intent of selling it for profit at auction- then they wonder why he’s pissed, then they taser him claiming he’s a threat in a lobby with bulletproof glass? how can three young cops justify tazering a 78 yr. old man? How could they feel threatened by his presence in any way. I think they just hated the fact that he was questioning their judgment.They already had their tazers out when they were questioning him, hoping they didn’t have to put them back. So a mouthy old man gets mad that his car was towed, accuses cops of “stealing” it, and acts obnoxious until they subdue him with a taser?
What’s the story here? So what if he’s “old”? Being old doesn’t mean you’re above the law. Nor does it mean that you can leave your unregistered car wherever you want.
And tasing him didn’t “injure” him. It just put a halt to his tirade.
Don’t pull the senior card out everytime you don’t get your way. Be a man and act like a grownup.

If he needed to be subdued and arrested, could you explain to me how several able-bodied police officers half his age couldn’t have pinned him down and cuffed him? Furthermore if you follow up with the story, the guy has suffered immensely as a result of this incident. His femur spontaneously snapped one day while he was walking to the mailbox, coincidentally in the exact spot where they tasered him…
the police were right the old guy says it was theft.. when his tags were out of date police have the right to impound his car and obvi the person who got there car takin away is mad so he got mad and got aggresive with the police
Cops think that tasers are ok to use on the elderly, children and pregnant women. Boatloads of cocaine come into this country and the dumb ass cops can’t stop it. This is why everyone hates the cops. Oh by the way I’m a 63 year old white man and I am just stating the truth. The best and brightest never go into police work. We need to raise the bar.
