LEAP’s Mission Statement www.leap.cc Founded on March 16, 2002, LEAP is made up of current and former members of law enforcement who believe the existing drug policies have failed in their intended goals of addressing the problems of crime, drug abuse, addiction, juvenile drug use, stopping the flow of illegal drugs into this country and the internal sale and use of illegal drugs. By fighting a war on drugs the government has increased the problems of society and made them far worse. A system of regulation rather than prohibition is a less harmful, more ethical and a more effective public policy. The mission of LEAP is to reduce the multitude of unintended harmful consequences resulting from fighting the war on drugs and to lessen the incidence of death, disease, crime, and addiction by ultimately ending drug prohibition. LEAP’s goals are: 1. To educate the public, the media, and policy makers, to the failure of current drug policy by presenting a true picture of the history, causes and effects of drug abuse and the crimes related to drug prohibition and 2. To restore the public’s respect for law enforcement, which has been greatly diminished by its involvement in imposing drug prohibition. LEAP’s main strategy for accomplishing these goals is to create a constantly enlarging speakers bureau staffed with knowledgeable and articulate former drug-warriors who describe the impact of current drug policies on: police/community relations; the safety of law enforcement officers …
brilliant
Nice to see some Law Enforcement see the travesty and insanity in this War on Ourselves.
There always seems to be strong resistance toward anything that changes the flow of money toward the “slave” or working class. We have an entire economy or class war over a “tabooed” substance that can be far more helpful than harmful. It is a clear case of money going to the rich over helping anyone anywhere. Every law seems to be based on whether the rich can get all the money from it. Rich people are the disease, and free cannabis is the cure. It is so easily accomplished. Stop the game!
It’s a food, it’s a fiber, it’s a fuel, it’s a medicine.. It could probably go a long way toward reducing pollution, and leather and plastic. Let’s see, it makes sick people well… Can’t have that! because because it would be a huge drain on the rich, plus we wouldn’t get to suffer needlessly. Let’s all get snockered and buy guns. We can all rip each other off for a living and make the poor people slave away in other places. Worst of all it would make everyone more self sufficient.
Now the way i understand it was a very rich person called William Randolf Hurst did a great deal to make hemp illegal because he had a patent process using Sulfuric acid digestion process to make paper out of trees. So for this reason and many other hemp became taboo forever. Instead of having a seed bank, what is needed is hemp cultivation everywhere, and on a daily basis. This way people can grow their own food the very first time they try.
The big game is about getting most of the money, and creating rules so that will happen. There are very rich people who; (in common terms) are criminally and/or mentally ill who who believe that; if they create a taboo, it should and will become illegal for their personal or reward bound gaming benefit. You call a good thing evil and an evil thing good. I think it may have once been called the knowledge of good and evil, as presented by “Satan”. It’s not an apple but a way of self rewarding.
Don’t forget the inflated illegal substance prices which bring feeding frenzies of the Organized Lords and their turf wars.
I would LOVE self sufficient, imagine that.. where none of us are out to screw each other only respect and care and love as family and non judgment.. I’m dreaming.. I do hope though..
My freinds of the Natives that used to go deep n areas untouched for wood, would find trees so large 4-5 men could hold hands all the way around the base of the tree it was that wide.
Another thing, I will never see and my children and their children…
Insanity..
I don’t know if you’ve ever seen these people in England who do, “Everything is Ok” Montages.
The walk around areas in London and other areas creating issues with police.
It can be quite funny at times becasue they stand around with megaphones and signs saying, “Everything is Ok”, and even though everyone calls the police saying they are demonstrating, When the police ask what they were saying they say, ” Everyone Shop, Don’t question Authority and everything they want to hear, drives them nuts.
I met Dr Norm Stamper in Australia on his recent visit. This amazing man carries a powerful and loud message.
