Most people don’t really give a fuck what happens to others at the hands of dictators or liars. So long as it’s not their little darlings caught up in war or corrupt government policies, they don’t give a monkeys. They are indifferent and defeatists in the face of civil rights erosions. Many in the UK are cowards who don’t stand up to corrupt government and, tolerate media evasions like the BBC who avoid showing reality of war and, they tolerate austerity measures while the rich laugh at ’em.
1:54 GOD DAMNIT
WOW
@Mrmoc7 you don’t parrot the MSM much, do you boy? This man is a HERO!
Julian Assange molested children in thailand
@NISboyet And that’s the idea, at least for Julian.
Julian Assange should just expose hidden media and stop being a media whore.
@iamhaterman do u have facts to prove it?
@Impeachthecriminals5
This man is an indignant, self-righteous egomaniac. Because of his efforts, many Afghans are going to die. The Taliban is studying the leaks as we speak (direct word from a Taliban official).
@NISboyet well yes i do some are on wikileaks and are ahrd to access you need to be a hacker like me to do it.they are hacked right now and cant figure it out.they are going down like doing prison time for a long time
julian assange- no girlfriend no boyfriend and 15 trips to thailand slums last year alone…molester
Its a travesty when in America every election cycle candidates begin crowing for “accountability’ but they’re quite united against WikiLeaks and the corruption and abuse of power it exposes.
what are cables?
@Mrmoc7 I suppose you “spoke directly” to the Taliban official? lol..
You are an IDIOT parrot!
@Impeachthecriminals5
Seriously? Are you really so naive as to believe that News of this leak is yet to reach the ears of the Taliban even if no major news source like New York times and Msnbc has actually quoted a Taliban official commenting on their organization’s intents with the leaks? You see, that’s the problem with you guys: You’re so freaking naive and simple-minded.
@mrmoc7 You are short-sighted if you think more people will die as a result of wikileaks. People are dying constantly over there because of this war that’s being conducted in such an inscrutable manner. If the war ends, people live, and the those in the Middle East who survived our onslaught don’t become terrorists at such an alarming rate.
Wiki-leaks is great but I can’t help feeling that most of the stuff is still out there if people just bother to find out the truth for themselves, what Wikil-eaks does i guess is present it in a package….!
Nevertheless anything to wake up the masses!
@66kompis im beginning to doubt wikileaks…assange is implying fromthe documents that pakistan needs to be invaded…keep an eye on this guy folks
@theoneali i can’t help being suspicious aswell. it just seems too good to be true (in terms of exposing the realities of the war) to get past american intelligence without too much upheaval. i’m always one to feel like if we’re hearing about something in the media there’s an orchestrated propagandistic reason and it’s not merely for the benefit of society.
but maybe i’m paranoid.
Someone made the remark to me that you should doubt your doubts. Maybe you don’t like these leaks in particular, but the next one might be about you. Would you want an atrocity in you backyard to go undetected. That’s the point I think. Al Franken is working on a bill about Internet Neutrality (freedom of speech really). If you go to his site he has a petition. He hasn’t hit 5,000 people. With so many activists this is really sad! Add your name to the petition, and help shove it through the .gov
@DukeUniversity08 He’s not a media whore. He has been exposing shit for years without responding to the inquiries of journalists. In another interview when someone asked him WHY he’s NOW exposing himself to the media… he said, “Because people were writing about us, even when we hadn’t spoken to them, and in effect, were inventing things. So I’m doing this to set the story straight.”
Support Wikileaks.
There is room for at least four more microphones around his face. Seriously though, wikileaks is amazing. Secrecy should be rare, especially when our nation’s actions are representing us the people. Unfortunately, secrecy is commonplace; it is the default position which means that we are all complicit in acts that we know nothing about. I find this unacceptable.
Some say he deserves the Nobel Prize for Peace! Because there’s none for Truth.
