I’m a GW skeptic, but the calls for jail time are insane. If he just made up numbers and put them in, that’s worthy of charges, but that’s not what he did. He switched data sources at a time. Scientists have dozens of these decisions to make – whether to throw out outliers, normalize data, etc. They’re not cut and dry decisions.

The emails which were exposed in the “climategate” show where him and his collegues intentionally modified temperatures so as to create models which would prove their hypothesis and therefore give them more grant money.
Amusing video, but deniers better get a firm grip on reality – 8 of the warmest 10 years globally occurred in the 2000s; the 2000s were warmer than the ’90s, which were warmer than the 80s, which were warmer than the 70s, and so on. Notice a trend? Do not believe your friendly neighbourhood Exxon spokesman. Find out what 97% of the climate scientists are saying.

Do some research and check UAH, HADCRUT, NASA, NOAA for surface, ocean, and lower troposphere temperatures.
@dajw02 They chose a convienent (too convienent) place to swap data sources. That’s not the same as making up numbers. All scientists are biased toward their hypotheses, that’s why replication is so important. I agree the emails are damning, but they don’t indicate conscious fraud.

@AcePilot2009 Can you present any data, any at all, to back up your theory? Astronomers and astrophysicists keep up with this phenomenon, so there must be corroborating data that the wobble has relatively quickly intensified and that this has caused greater heat retention globally, not just hemispherically.
