The thing is, Fox edited the clip to cut out the fact. She pushed the cop aside, acted hostile, and had reason to be taken in. Do I agree with his decision? No, but at least know the full story. Some cops are horrible yes, but most are not.
Yeah? They could be nice about it. If I came up to and said “FUCKING GET ON THE GROUND, PUNK!” I’m sure you would not. Now if I said, “Could you please lie down on the ground?” nicely, I’m sure you’d be more willing to do so.

While these are indeed unforgiveable acts, they are almost certainly a reflection of less then 1% of all police in America. Most are law abiding and law enforcing. This video shows the few bad apples and not a set rule to expect from your every day officer.

I was trained by police officers in 2001 to do security that met to some very strict standards and nothing they taught soundded ruthless. They did teach that you have to be careful and do certain things to safe guard your own life.
One of my friends went through police training roughly 5 years ago and he’s no more ruthless now then he was before.
Of the many police officers I’m friends with, very few could be called ruthless in fact. Just cautious.

Well, first of all, I’ve yet to find any convincing evidence that FEMA owns any camps of any kind. All the locations claimed to be supposed death camps tend to be over protected amtrak repair stations or something equally non-threatening.
As for police, I stand by what I said. Most are honest hard working people looking to serve and protect their communities. The number of cops who are corrupt couldn’t be more then 10% of the total.

It’s nothing personal against you. I’ve just looked and looked and seen nothing that convinces me of some horrible plot to kill a majority of us off. In fact, due to the number of times it’s been predicted and failed to come to true, I think you gotta admit, there might not be anything to worry about.
Besides, if the bankers really want money, they want more of us alive, not less. They can’t collect if we’re dead.

@stbays Fear causes people to act irrationally esp. when they believe they are in the right simply because of the position they hold. Clearly you’re allowing the few police you know personally to change your opinion of those in power overall… It’s only when you research views that challenge your own that you can reach a truly educated consensus.
The thing I’ve noticed is bad news sells, so you rarely hear about the cops that are doing their job properly and helping people. You’ll only get news reports on the corrupt officers. If you only focus on the bad stuff, sure it’s going to seem a lot worse then it really is. I really do wish we could do something to celebrate the good officers.
This is just my perspective.
@stbays Bad news does sell but if these are people responsible for regulating laws shouldn’t there be no bad news about them? They spend months training to be part of the police force yet there are so many that violate these values they’re taught in favor of abusing power…We do do something to celebrate good officers…it’s called prison. Prisons are filled with nonviolent crime offenders (drug dealers). What conclusion does that lead you to?
If the world were perfect, it’d be free of any corruption at all. Problem is, the world isn’t perfect. In every group, you can find a percentage of corrupt people. This doesn’t mean the entire group is corrupt though. It’s realizing this fact that will allow you to make more sense of the world.
This corruption comes from indivituals who want more power then they are given. Power can mean control of their immediate surroundings or more commen is, they want more money then they have.
