@PanzerDivisionBOM Your absolutely correct when you say that the “throat-slitters flock to it” as most of your statement was. However if it can attract these scum than why can’t it attract the people who seek to do good? Now the common excuse is that good people could never get in, because they would be suppressed. But thats only because so few seek to do good. As for your final statement, I’m not quite sure what you mean when you say “under competition”?
The root of all evil is odious debt, usury and the IRS. Abolish the IRS and people can begin to reclaim their freedom.
I needed that.
A reminder of why I fight.
@tmcthree and you a genuine tool, sheep, anonymous cog in a broken system. Someone who will lay down and close their eyes to be shot because the government ordered you to
@cv9113366 fuck off moron
@tmcthree Then go troll some other video
Ok genius, tell me how society would work with a central administration.
I’M WAITING!
@cv9113366 You got nuttinnn
@reboottees shit! ambolish the federal reserve!
yup
Wonderful! Self-ownership, what a concept!
I do plan to opt out, about 85 or 90%.
If enough of us do it, there will be insufficient power and money available for those who would plunder it.
Goodbye New World Order!
@TheAnimeStop
I know of a few attempts to explain why that happens, foremost among them being public choice theory. You also have my own attempt at a psychoanalysis from my previous post: entrepreneurs must deal with and serve their fellow men on a basis of mutual consent, whereas bureaucrats have a lot more leeway to tax, spend, abuse and neglect. Therefore, governmental firms will, on average and all other things being equal, tend to attract more men who thrive on dominance and rigidity.

Ultimately, the question “why” is largely irrelevant. All that matters is that it is so: government power attracts scoundrels like menure attracts flies.
Competition between different jurisdictions. The easier it is to relocate from one jurisdiction to the next, the greater the threat of capital flight, and the greater the pressure towards lasseiz-faire. Best of all would be ageographical jurisdictions, based on polycentric law or even mutual consent, where all it takes is a phone call.
@tmcthree There’s too much to cover so I’ll give a small example. Back in the days when this country was free (aprox. 1782 to 1790) people who wanted or needed roads built, did it themselves, people who needed power built waterwheel mills. I would rather have to patch the potholes in my street and supply my own power via generator that have some faceless group of self-important assholes thinking they can tell me what I can or can’t do on my own property.
@wachagondoo Two things. The country wasn’t free between 1782 and 1790, if you were a fucking slave who of course would be doing the work.
And are you seriously suggesting that people should be responsible for the upkeep of their own street. Do you know how fucking expensive that would be.
One reason people don’t live the way they did in the 18th century is because of the economies of scale. We need organisation so that we all don’t have to spend all our time scraping up enough food to eat.
@tmcthree Well, ya ok, some people were enslaved during that period but thats moot to the point I was putting forth. As to the suggestion that people should maintain their own streets, ever heard of a neighborhood association? It seems that you can’t fathom the idea that SOME people would rather work to the point of exaustion for themselves and their families, than be subject to “laws” thought up by panicy soccer moms and uptight Churchgoers..
@wachagondoo Of course it’s not a moot point. It bears heavily on the economics of the time (as does the size of the population and the maintenance requirements of the contemporary infrastructure, ie low and low.) If you want to understand a bit more about freedom in a slave society, read Nietzsche’s Genealogy of Morals.
Yes I’ve heard of neighbourhood associations but they still won’t be anywhere near big enough. You won’t be working yourself to exhaustion you’ll be working yourself…cont
@wachagondoo con’t …and your families, to death.
And of course, the bigger your “association” the closer it is to government.
What does the average anti “statist” think about corporation? Are you happy for those to exist without a robust government to keep them in check?
@tmcthree I’m not against taxation, I’m against putting money into the hands of people who use it irresponsibly, or funnel it into their own pockets by way of inflated, shady contracts with kickbacks attached while these very same people pass laws telling me I HAVE to do this or CAN’T do that when this or that benefits or harms no one.
If we could fire these morons and send them packing as soon as they do something against our will it would be different but.. cont
@tmcthree cont. Instead we have to wait for election time and then if they’re better funded than the guy running against them…you know. Anyhow you made some good points, it was only my idea to offer a small example of how society might function without a central admin. as that was the orig. question. It is nice to see that some people are still capable of discussing a subject on these forums with actual ideas instead of insults, thanks for being one of those…
There is a place where you can move to *today* which has cast off the statist ideology. It is called “Somalia”. Honestly, stop making videos about the horrors of statism, pack your bags, and move to this utopia! Freedom awaits!!!
There’s only one place to really “be” free, not Somalia but between your ears!
Self sufficiency, personal responsibility & connection to your community, by far the most effective form of protest.
Do you believe this government would allow us to have our own thoughts and ideals so freely? Do you think they would sever our strings from their puppeteering ways? How would you suggest that we go about being a free people with no peaceful solutions? I’m all for a peaceful alternative so I would like some suggestions. Our standard protests fall upon deaf ears…
Nice video.
Who would ‘run’ the world if the govt ceased to exist?
The same people who are running it now.
Who turns up at 7.30am every day to run stations which generate electricity, hospitals to care for the sick, farms to produce food, factories to produce manufactured goods? Who builds the houses we live in, the streets we drive on and the vehicles we drive in?
The answer is easy… people like you and me. WE run the world already.
Govt ministers, elite etc dont DO anything but meddle
