Today Minneapolis police kicked Rosemary Williams out of her home, 35 days into the popular occupation @ 3138 Clinton Ave. Rosemary and 3 supporters were inside and she emptied her home. A handful of activists crossed the police tape; on both sides of the police line many got maced, and one was kicked, 7 arrested. @meowingmyrtle Doesn’t matter if she lived there for 100 years. In the past 30 years she, at one point, AGREED and signed a mortgage saying she will pay x amount of dollars each month. She didn’t keep her end of the bargain. It’s not the bank’s fault she’s not making payments, and it’s not the bank’s fault she signed the paper. Don’t like the terms, don’t sign, nobody forced her to do so.

The police officer that 1:10 totally didn’t have any justification for using his OC spray. Isn’t there something about only being able to use OC spray when the suspect or individual poses some sort of threat!?

@meowingmyrtle we send all kinds of money to other country’s for food,water,cloths medicine and so forth but let this happen to one of our own very sad to see this.i have seen in tn cops put a family out on the streets and the elderly lady was confined to a hospital bed with oxygen tank her husband was in a wheelchair and blind but the police put there belongs on the sidewalk and them to where they left them.they had no family no one offered to help them not even the churches 2 days before help
