Sgt.Evans made that one up because he was a severe racist and knew Eddie was innocent. He racially profiled him anyway because he was bored. Carl told him off that what he did was wrong and will have him reported for it. I was glad he went easy on Carmichael because he knew that he regretted not helping Eddie out when he had the chance. He wished that he stepped up and told Evans off that what he’s doing is wrong and that they should leave Eddie alone because he’s just a kid.
Even all that anger, Carl still shows courtesy towards her because she wasn’t involved in his heated confrontation with Evans.

Anyone ever herd of a former baseball player named Bobby Tolan who played for Cincinnati’s famed Big Red Machine he has a son mid 20’s who driving his own car home and parked it on the street when 2 white cops looking for a stolen car came up too his folks house and they roughed up his parents and shot him!!! he’s ok but the bullet is in his liver and maybe messed up his baseball career and investigation is going on HBO’s Real Sports did a piece on it!!! Its unreal and sad that it happened!!!

I felt it was rather awkward how this episode combines slapstick comedy (at the dentist’s office) with the very serious issue of racial discrimination. If you make a serious episode, keep it that way and don’t put too much emphasis on the humor is my opinion.
