The 2011 Egyptian protests are a continuing series of street demonstrations taking place throughout Egypt from January 2011 onwards, with organizers counting on the Tunisian uprising to inspire the crowds to mobilize. The demonstrations and riots were reported to have started over police brutality, State of emergency laws, unemployment, desire to raise the minimum wage, lack of housing, food inflation, corruption, lack of freedom of speech and poor living conditions. The protests main goal is to oust President Hosni Mubarak who has been in power for more than 30 years. While localized protests were already commonplace in previous years, major protests and riots erupted all over the country starting on 25 January, known as the “Day of Anger”, the date set by Egyptian opposition groups and others for a major demonstration. The 2011 protests have been called “unprecedented” for Egypt, and “some of the most serious civil unrest in recent memory” in the country. Hosni Mubarak presidency: President Hosni Mubarak has ruled Egypt since 1981. His government, which has been criticized in the media and amongst NGOs, is supported by the United States because of his “persecution of the Islamists generally supportive of Israel.” As a result, the initial reactions to Hosni Mubarak’s abuses by the US were muted, and most instances of socio-political protest in the country, when they occurred at all, rarely made major news headlines. why don’t they use carbombs on the police?
Just on the right moment when a horde policemen is bypassing the car…KABOOM!!!! more then 100 dead policemen! it would be next civil war, and why do people join the police squad while there goverment is fucked up? I realy hope all policemen there die in hell!
or get a sniper and snipe them all from above =)
I think the answer to the question “why do people join the police squad while there goverment is fucked up?” from darkcell22, it is probable that they have recieved all kinds of treats from their so called government.. you know how the gov is very currupt and will do anything to confuse their own people. but the sad part about it is that the world knowsTHAT the pro-mubarak protesters are being forced to do all kinds of things… THE WORLD IS WATCHING!!
@austin23456789 sadly this will not happen in our life time in America for the reason of the U.S is not under a dictators rule and we will not end up in war for if U>s government were to interfere they would be greatly unsupported by the people of Egypt for this is there fight and there revolution, they do not want the U.s to take credit for what the brave Egyptians are fighting for..
@DarkCell22 Why do they throw stones/and rocks ?? like 5 year old children do / they need Jared Lee Loughner in EGYPT < he takes care of business
Can you explain 1 thing to me? I honestly don’t get why egyptians are protesting against Mubarak. You want more freedom of speech etc but if Mubarak falls the muslim brotherhood will become the leading party – they are not really well known for their freedom policies etc… So why are you protesting? It seems like egyptians are just dissatisfied with Mubarak but that they don’t really have a clue what they want instead. Can you clarify this?
@DarkCell22 Or all the people in the windows raining down molotov cocktails on thier heads…
dont forget the 300 murdered on friday mobarak is a lyer and will kill all the protesters if they go home , his secret police are still waiting in the wings to get there revenge.dont stop the revolution ..when mobarak goes,,,where will he go? hr cant go to any county in the middle east because when the facts of his actions over the last 30 years are told there will be a riot in that county …he cant go to europe cos they will have to hand him over to the court of human rights ..so were?
Some here are fear mongering about the Muslim brotherhood. They are no different than the party in power in Turkey. And even if they were more radical, how does 20% support, which is what the Muslim brotherhood is reported to have, translate into majority? Several EU countries have 20% radical support – right wingers – but it doesn’t mean they cannot have democracy.
this is awful, thanks american is this your dream?
@Redmailnet YOUR WELCOME! GO USA !
@mownad They are not codes.. they are IPv4 adresses… Anyways, I hope it worked, and if it does they suck at blocking the Internet.
