the denver police department beat me up & stole my camera, the memory card & the footage which was on it.. i eventually got the camera back after i had to plead guilty to a bullshit charge of “disobeying a lawful order”.. they stole my memory card & the footage i have of them conducting an illegal raid at an art gallery in denver on july 30th, 2010.. the denver police department is crooked..
I work for the City of Denver. Around them all the time will not give them the time of day.

@Kaizzmom I don’t think that is the case here. The camera operator had just moved the camera a few seconds before the beating started. I could see your point if it had been focused on one spot for a minute or so but cmon… That was intentional.

Criminals act at a risk to themselves, police almost always act with impunity, and most likely whatever they do will go unpunished, or will be punished very, very lightly. A criminal’s word won’t be given more weight than yours in court. No, criminals are less dangerous, in general, than cops.

the news story said that the kid was talking to his father who is a police officer in Pueblo when he was attaked by the goons…yes, this does happen virtually everywhere but now with cell phone cameras and other devices we can now see how dirty many cops are..why is talking on the phone illegal?? If cops fail to arrest fellow officers who engage in criminal conduct they are complicit and not good cops. Those who cover for their scummy brothers are just as guilty as those who engage in misconduct. They deserve ZERO respect for their cowardice and failure to stop illegal conduct. They look the other way and allow misconduct and illegality to flourish among their ranks of fellow officers. The Denver Police Department is filled with cowards who stay silent while others abuse.

The cops act exactly the same way as those who refuse to act as witnesses to crimes in their own neighborhoods. i have personally been beaten by denver police just about two months ago and my case was conveniently dismissed by the department after I filed a formal and legitimate case. I hate those guys and I hope all of the dirty police in Denver get theirs. Fuck Them.
