LOL “that’s going to have to be the last word” Ha ha- the last intelligent word.
You’ll not see McGovern on CNN air again. Put an end to that kind of smart talk. Shuffle those papers every time intelligence and honesty is heard…
good statement! but the “journalist” looks a little bit pissed. sad thing at the end: we ll take a closer look to the cyberattacks launched… and just how vulnerable we are as internet users”…. OMG there always has been hacking and bullshit in the internet but now its much much dangerous? US news are always about fear fear fear, dont be a afraid of a sick government no be afraid of cyberattacks, sars, chicken flew, and and and… pathetic, if this is cnn, dont wanna see the news on FOX
What a schizo world we live it! One the one hand the government wants to protect whistle blowers. On the other hand, we want to try them for treason! Sheesh!
I might note that CNN deserves a bit of credit for putting McGovern on air for a fairly lengthy interview by the standards of such shows, and letting him speak at comparative length largely uninterrupted. CNN would have known where he stood on this before inviting him on. So some credit where credit is due, at least.
With out agreeing to what was done ilegaly in any way,,,,Just imagine If Julian Assange did’nt exist,,,, would we still be waiting for this to happen right now with the sheilds down?
I’m glad I get my news from non-corporate media. One good interview doesn’t make up for the hours of bullshit from these corpoarate journalists. It’s no wonder that these goofs can’t recognize a real journalist when they see one or cover a real story. Corporate media breeds ignorance.
I do note there has been no denial of the accuracy of the information released– If what is being done shouldn’t be known- perhaps it shouldn’t have been done in the first place.
So you guys think that someone could just hack into these classified files and then the guy can tell the pentagon and the defense department and they are can be ok with it? This doesn’t seem odd to anyone? The 9/11 firefighters and first responders talking about explosions at the base of the WTC can’t get any media that doesn’t call them crazy, but Julian Assange can get a ton of press that has obviously not turned anyone against him, but made his case even stronger.
Mr. CNN guy, you are not a journalist when you work for CNN. You are a news reader and an apologist for the US government.
This guy. Is fucking awesome.
I just went from six to midnight. :)
Outstanding. Maybe there is a sliver of hope for this country…
naww cute the brain damaged CNN talking head thinks its a journalist. :)
An ideal (Utopian) Government should not have secrets.
Don Lemon owned. Admits media is govt tool by saying media ARE/ DO view Assange as a pariah. What a tool. Bravo Ray McGovern.

@bripdwessel exactly
Finally some one said it. 2:40
And SO true.
Did that imbecile CNN reporter really have to ask if he should be doing what Julian Assange is doing? What a joke.
Ray McGovern is the man.
CNN reporter had no idea wtf to do with those stupid questions.
I’m not sure what they expected, he prepared intelligence briefs for 30 years.
Free Mr. Assange !!!
i heard he got arrested yesterday :s ppl trying 2 get him in jail but all the world want 2 hear the true

Come on Assange. Release the next batches. We are getting bored..
I feel like a zombie except instead of brains I want ‘informationnnn”….grrr!
The “intelligence” part of his ex-agency’s title definately applies to this man.
With out agreeing to what was done ilegaly in any way,,,,Just imagine If Julian Assange did’nt exist,,,, would we still be waiting for this to happen right now with the sheilds down?
Assange has been bribed by the China gov’t.
