did you even read the logic in my orig. statement? I don’t agree or disagree with the “official story.” I don’t trust that there is any reliable data available from anywhere, because the government has either confiscated or obfuscated the information that would lead to the the truth…ask any of the business with security cameras near ground zero or the pentagon…I agree with the lack of data you speak of…but that wasn’t my point. My point was that you cannon discredit Noam based on that..
he incidence of cancer among the Japanese survivors of Hiroshima was/is about the same as the incidence of cancer among the Japanese population at large.
@beelzebubblicious6 Sorry. i worked with Dr. Stanley Kronenberg in NJ at Ft Monmouth. He had the scientific studies from Hiroshima and concluded the cancer rates were essentially the same as the population of Japan at large. Dr. Kronenberg was a scientist. Not a doctor. He was a dosimetrist. It was his study. He was entrusted with the data to evaluate the results. Your suorce is wrong.I will google it to see who is spreading lies.
@beelzebubblicious6 here is a snippet from the data you referred me to.::
“the team points out that these occurred in a sampling of only 1,109 people, the oldest of whom is now just 35.”
Hiroshima occurred 65 years ago. I don’t know what they are talking about.
The Japanese have the lowest rates of cancer in the world even though they have been Nuked twice. The Japanese also consume more Iodine in their diet than any nation on earth. I would bet that Iraqis are deficient in Iodine as bad or worse than Americans. I do not think that the depleted uranium from US weapons is helping them out either.
America, just keeps making them with American workers tax money and they keep spending it killing people who are shepards and farmers. Than when the money and the budgets dont fall into place. The cut backs are placed on the working class while the Rich get to extort, have our politicians in there pockets! They fund and fund these military contracts! Fund for the next war just so the fat cats at the top can get a even bigger slice of the pie! While Americans get feed the higher taxes! Low wages!
@carlrs15 { “what possible incentive would Chomsky have to perpetuate it?” } You have to realize at the level this plays out, vast sums of populations, uncountable monetary reserves and near-Reptillian bizareness of theory en-cloak persons like Mr. Chomsky with frames of reference that defy defeat. The fact that various nations power-play wtih their own is proven by blatant fabrications such as “Bradley Manning” :: Poster Child of Orifice World Order
There could be a lot of reasons for a leukemia hotspot in Fallujah. Depleted uranium rounds could be a contributor. But Saddam also had a chemical weapons plant in Fallujah in the mid-1990’s.
@packetrat
Please. The report Chomsky references unambiguously states that 2004 was the year of contamination. The soaring rate of cancer and birth defects manifests itself directly after the US assault.
@TAMARLANE
The literature on cancer in Nakasaki and Hiroshima is large, well established, and not controversial. I don’t know what “he had the scientific studies” means. Here ARE the scientific studies. Go to pubmed.com and enter

on and on and on
Epidemiologists, not dosimetrists, would be doing these studies. “kronenberg hiroshima” gets zero search results. Your former mentor never published anything on cancer, he published physics articles such as

@beelzebubblicious6 I sorta know that. I worked Nuclear Weapons Testing at the Nevada Test Site for 8 years in the 50s=60s. We were still doing atmospheric tests
while I was there. I worked in electronics, chemistry and radiation safety during those years. At one point I was manager of records and reports in Dosimetry.
Actually I do know quite a bit about the effects of ionizing radiation on human beings. I know there are only 3 ways radiation can kill you. And causing cancer is not one of them.
From cancer dot org:
“Ionizing radiation is a proven human carcinogen (cancer causing agent). The evidence for this comes from many different sources, including studies of atomic bomb survivors in Japan, people exposed during the Chernobyl nuclear accident, people treated with high doses of radiation for cancer and other conditions, and people exposed to high levels of radiation at work, such as uranium miners.”
What was it Chomsky said about eating pussy?

Chomsky is a total waste of time. He is angry at his parents for trying to suggest he give up sucking cock and go to church.
@TAMARLANE
That is factually incorrect. By a longshot.
Just google HIROSHIMA CANCER RATES

Depleted uranium shells used? Blowing in the wind……..

Depleted Uranium
God he sounds very bilderbergish in this one. More so than usual.
Talk about an “okay grandad” moment!

Here was me thinking the military was just stupid. Turns out incompetence is just a smoke screen for evil. That`s a load off my mind.
@TAMARLANE
You are very wrong.

You are simply incorrect.
he looks much healthier here…I am very happy. And he has lost some weight from 2009…thank heavens. I love this man.
