The San Francisco Police Department is investigating an incident caught on video that shows an officer apparently forcing a handcuffed woman face first into the pavement. In the video, shot by a bystander, the belligerent woman – who police said was drunk and pushing a baby in a stroller – shouts obscenities at two Taraval Station officers attempting to arrest her. The woman can be seen resisting both officers’ efforts to place her in the police car. The baby, left in the stroller on the sidewalk, can be heard crying. The officers almost manage to get the woman into the unit, but she pushes against the car and yells, “It’s my baby in the street!” While one officer goes to the other side of the patrol car, the other is left to deal with the woman alone. The video shows him bracing her neck with his hand as she pushes back to avoid getting into the car. Then, the officer appears to move to the side and grunt as he appears to push the woman face first into the pavement on the street between two parked cars. In the police report, the officer gave a version of what occurred and acknowledged that he used force against the woman, authorities say. The officers stopped the woman because they believed she was the suspect in an assault they were responding to, police said. Although not shown on the video, an ambulance soon arrived and took the woman to San Francisco General Hospital. She bit one of the paramedics on the way, according to police accounts. “We want to make sure we …
415diva- are you saying that leaving the baby there, in its stroller, on the sidewalk while the officers were just feet away meant they had no concerns for it? The fact that the officers had that stroller in plain sight the whole time isnt good enough for you!? YAs a mother, you blame the officers, instead of the way that “mother” was acting for the reason that baby was even put in that situation? Ooops, that would be me expecting a “mother” to act as a responsible adult. My bad
If this was some shyt head dude the officers had, and he bit the oficer, none of you liberal f___ks would even care! Instead of placing the blame on the person it belongs, you idiots decide the officers are the goons. I’d love to see how one of you tards would react if you got bit. I’m sure you would just kindly lower the person to the ground and ask him to not do it again , right?? Those that defend criminal actions are no better than the crooks that commit them!Ya,that means you dummies!
I heard that the woman was drunk, which is no reason to slam her head into the ground. One of the officers looks like Officer Mitchell of the Taraval Station and he lacks the maturity to be a cop as far as I’m concerned. If it’s not Mitchell, my apologies.
I heard that the woman was drunk, which is no reason to slam her head onto the ground. Was that Officer Mitchell of the Taraval Station? He’s unfit. If not him, my apologies. BTW, the woman was not the mother of the child.
what about being bitten? Is that a reason to suddenly throw the “biter” away from you with no regard for their landing?? I say yes.
They should have tazered her. It didn’t look intentional though. I think he was going to give it another try getting her in from another angle when she twisted away from him. Obviously he isn’t going to let go of her so they went to ground and she hit her head. She is clearly at fault and a bunch of Youtubers who don’t know shit about police work should STFU. Arresting people can be violent but I guarantee it looks worse than it is. Resisting once they have the cuffs on is stupid.
I am so tired of seeing this shit everyday. Maggots that resist the Police and waste tax payers money. This is free country, when are we going to rise up and deal with these drunks before we call the Police and waste our hero’s time!
@415diva You sit here and disagree with every logical point anyone has. You defend her despite the fact that she’s abusing a substance in the presence of a child, which may or may not be hers. “disproportionate” doesn’t make sense in this statement. Don’t use big words in an attempt to sound intelligent. You clearly don’t understand them. The reason there are so many alcoholic officers are because they deal with idiots like you all the time and can’t slam your face into the concrete.
@dkopp37 – PLEASE don’t be mad because you had to look the word up first in order to know what it meant. Last I checked, you’re the pot calling the kettle black – where the HELL did you find the “fact” that she was abusing any substance in front of the child? Also, did you bother looking at the video? She’s screaming “MY BABY”…you might want to look in the mirror before you allow the word IDIOT to EVER exit your fingertips with regards to anyone other than your simple azz.
@dkopp37 – my bad, you may actually want to utilize the dictionary before you start typing, as well…Out of proportion, as in size, shape, or amount…explain to me how that doesn’t apply, since you’re so bright and knowledgeable. As far as “understanding them” goes, maybe you’re just one of the crew that’s too scared to come out & simply say your a cop…frankly, I don’t want to understand you, or the rest of your ilk.
@shmoopify – plain sight my a&&…do you see them remotely paying attention to the child? Especially the officer in question? Also, where do you see the officer get bitten? For those of us that actually LIVE in SF & read the papers, the only person that’s said to have been bitten is the paramedic. Stop making excuses for the cop & miss me with that bs…I put responsibility squarely where it lies, an officer that can’t seem to do his job w/o becoming abusive.
@shmoopify – and as previously stated, the only MORON involved is the one that needs to resort to name-calling cuz they’re too STUPID to possess a vocab to put their thoughts into words…you might wanna do that mirror check as well…just sayin…
@shmoopify – oh, & forgot to mention SAVE THAT BS FOR SOMEONE THAT HASN’T BEEN INVOLVED IN MARTIAL ARTS, AS WELL…this is about as accidental as Tyson knocking somebody out…
415diva- are you suggesting that a baby stapped into a stroller, on the sidewalk, merely feet away from police officers is an unsafe setting for a baby? Are you saying that you could see every movement of these officer’s eyes as they dealt with this idiot? It’s not possible that either of these officers took a glance over at the stroller during this incident!? LOL you think the paper would print the fact that the officer was bitten!? Abusive cop sells more papers than biting suspect.
415dive- As far as your earlier comment to me; “Stop making excuses for the cop”. At least I’m doing it for the good guys and not the piece of crap criminals.
@TheGiantRobot i know it sounded harsh, it was more to point out the severity of the officers actions.. i feel very sad for her.
ensile you liberal piece of ^&%$. Its people like you who “feel sorry” for these idiots who act like 5 yr olds throwing a tantrum. Instead of following simple intructions by the police she decides to act like a wild animal, and you condone it.
uploader prepared to be sued. stupid shit and they try to make a witness a criminal.
she did obviously do something to spark the police to grab hold of her, but she fucked up and fought back.
i dont see any police brutality, the bitch isnt cooperating. if i was the cop i smacked the bitch in the face with my gun real hard till she was unconcious. I don’t have time to deal with retards.
hahaha. “FUCK YOU” i hate people like that. I don’t blame the cops.
@shmoopify i’m Liberal and i don’t feel sorry for that drunk.
kambelzful- Thank the lord people like you still exist!
Bitch got what she deserved.
they did that right next to her baby what the fuck
Police should be the one that goes to jail
