well, that’s just it, isn’t it? He did do something wrong-speeding. If I get pulled over, typically it would be because I did something wrong!
I personally think that unless your driving suspiciusly as long as you don’t MAKE a mistake then you should be left allone. The police speed, rally cars speed. Do they all crash? Yes… but not every second.
But then again i’ve seen what passes for reasonable driving in 3rd world countries, it doesnt help them in the long run.
I guess this is one of those situations in that; he was wrong to do it, and she was wrong to stop him.
although I don’t agree with what most of these fs ‘ers do, I can say that you must supply a license and reg, however you DO NOT have to answer any questions an officer asks you, (as much as it pains me to say it) i’m critical of the fs ‘ers, but I am fair.
I hear you. Every cop is different though. One might have a grace speed of 10mph over the speed limit, another 15. Either way you slice it, speeding is speeding. Touchy subject for me as I lost 2 loved ones in one accident last year due to the driver speeding
I know what your feeling man, i’ve been there.
Anyhow it just seems like they have an all access pass to dick people about which is like basically saying their rights are worth more than ours… coz i don’t see them protecting our rights and they just have this false reality thing going.
But what do you expect? Gov employes about 10% of the population to police the rest.
“he was wrong to do it, and she was wrong to stop him”
WHY WAS SHE WRONG TO STOP HIM????
She’s a traffic cop. It’s her job to pull motorists who do 45 in a 30 zone. What is so heinous about a cop doing her job?
I can see this is a bit too much for you.
Her job was wrong to ask her to arrest someone for a victumless crime that dident even involve an accident or even two parties.
This is why she WAS’NT actually asked to arrest him, she was asked to give him a bill. Who on earth has the right to charge people money for existing!?
You can see pleanty of WORNGs in this way of conduct, can’t you? Never mind that we all already know, the faster you go for longer the more chance you have of crashing.
It’s not a charge for existing – it’s a fine for breaking the law. Is that so terrible?
And I’m sick of this “victimless crime” bullshit. Would you object if I smoked a bag of weed and then drove my car at 90mph along the street where your kids play?
Come on man, they’re all victimless crimes, right?
Where are my liberties?
Don’t ask such steupid questions, Are you asking whether my kids play on a highway road or my views on addictive substances. Combining all three is so obviusly a bad idea that it bares no comparisone to getting a speeding ticket for ‘not crashing’, ‘not driving suspiciusly’ all because the law says its a good idea?
News flash; the law is made by people, they get it wrong, they try extend to much power over people, and every time they need some money they bring out a new tax, (i can prove this)
For something to be true evidence it has to be disprovable, why? Because if it can never be disprove even by contrary evidence then it is not true proof as it only applies to itself and not all instances.
– You can prove he was speeding using a speedometer and speed cameras.
– You cannot however, prove that he was impaired, suspicious or endangering the lives of others.
If you cannot prove this, what makes it such a bad decision, why are the ambulances and police not making a bad decision.
Who says it’s a bad idea? Not me. I might not crash either so pass the baggie and the bottle don’t infringe my liberties by making me obey laws I think are wrong, after all, nobody’s been hurt….yet…
Victimless crimes man…
He was speeding (Ridley even admits this).
The ticket was fair.
End of story. Sit down.
Don’t talk to me that way.
Ive already cast doubt on their ability to prove he did anything dangerous. The only punishments a fine, which summarises the objective of this law. Not to gain convictions, but to gain money.
If you would like to surrender to the budget accountants idea what law should be then fine… literally. I would rather go to prison, that admit that i or anyone ellse is guilty when they are not.
Who’s gonna stick up for your rights? The law? As if thats EVER happened.
He’s admitted his guilt – they don’t need to prove anything.
If you don’t want to pay a fine then you will go to jail.
And do you think the money goes into the Sheriff’s pocket so he can take a trip to Baja? It goes into the Police Department budget to pay for stuff that otherwise would come out of your taxes.
As someone who is clearly so anti-police I assume you will not be calling them in the event that a crime is perpetrated against you…
It is a mini-empire, and i honestly would rather be self sufficient than put all my trust, all of my freedoms in the hands of someone who doesnt even trust me. I’m not even consulted, but Im threatened if i don’t pay money to them?
He said he was speeding… over the ‘limit’… the limit imposed by law.
Nice how you didnt reply to any of my points about driving dangerously and why this doesnt apply to the ‘authorities’.
You need to compare them to draw some kind of contrast between black and white.
Nazis made a plot to burn down ‘their’ parliament… blamed it on the communists and shot them. Similar to 9/11 and the war in Iraq?
The Russians would come in the night and arrest ‘dissidents’, who spoke out against Stalin… bare any resemblance to Guantanimo?
A Texan Judge was found to sentence youths to juvenile institutes because he was paid off by the institutes. Bare any comparison to speeding fines
Please… not the conspiracy theories…
The short answers to your questions are:
No
No
No
My blood pressure is already up in the paint cards and I don’t need to endanger my health further by debating NWO / Illuminati / JFK / black helicopter / Elvis lives bullshit with people who live in an alternate reality. Sorry.
What gives “you” the right to determine what is an appropriate speed? Aren’t there people whoose job it is to do that. All a person has to do, to avoid paying money to Govt is drive the speed limit.
You are right this time BedsnHerts, in order to avoid any entaglement with the Revenue Collection Officers, he should have refused to contract with them, only asked questions, not given any details, agreed to nothing and understood nothing. If you do these things then they cannot create joinder with your legal fiction, the only entity that stautes can operate against and therefore he would have been free to go, without even getting a worthless ticket.
Actually beebo02, you don’t have to provide anything if you don’t STAND UNDER their jurisdiction. Watch Rob Menard’s videos about the Freeman Movement to see why you should never pay fines, taxes or buy licences ever again.
You do have to provide proof you are a licensed and registered driver. If not, it just makes more headaches for the driver.
Have you watched Rob Menard’s videos? He makes a very good case for standing up for your rights against the revenue collection officers, especially if no one has been harmed and no common law has been broken. I think that if you are a careful driver and not endangering anyone, then they should take their tickets and stuff them where the sun don’t shine.
Yeah an alternate reality of freedom, liberty, justice and laws that make sense and target only those hurting other peoples person or property. I agree it seems a bit like the twilight zone compared to our current NAZI government.
you have the right to remain silent when under arrest. answering questions during an investigation is what officers use for probable cause.
the two things that are the best to say to a cop when pulled over or taken out of a car is. 1) i do not consent to a search
2) am i free to leave
everything varies state to state. and alot is determined by the plain view doctrine when it comes to getting pulled over and u have something in ur car
It seem to me you want to ask if that section of the road posted correct speed according to state law? Read the state traffic code that spell out the speed for that location (state road, city county gravel) type of road. If it dose not make a motion to the judge to verify the legality of the speed at that location. Some times there is a reason for speed to very. There is procedures that must be followed and documented according to law. Some times it does not happen.
