@PiMagh Thanks! I am actually , contrary to the majority of people, very worried about Lybia invasion-it is so unfair! I heard Gaddafi’s speech to other arab leaders and I can see how inteligent he is. Nobody knows if he is fair, nor a dictator, but to kill almost the entire population of Lybia for money and to impose the New World Worder is as bad as what they did to Egypt. So I am quite glad to hear the good news. The most important part of a war is propaganda. They did the same in the WW2.

@silverpreping If your info is so good, then share it. I’m giving you a fair chance to make your case. I’m reading over some data about retirement but the problem is that collection of data has changed substantially over the past few decades. I agree that the retirement age will rise, but I don’t see any sound data yet. If you stop calling me “son” or “troll”, maybe others will take you seriously. The evidence I’m seeing has A LOT of holes in it, but it does support what Alex is saying.

@solarDeviant The alarming statistics in that article state that 39% of workers plan to retire after age 70 or not at all (the numbers match one uncited point in the article you mentioned). If you go to ebri.org and go the Retirement Confidence Study for 2011, you’ll find on page 30 that in 2011 that they agree that 39% of Americans surveyed plan to retire after age 70/not at all/ don’t know. However, only 1/3 of these actually retired after age 70/not at all/are still working.
@solarDeviant On the next page (31) you’ll notice that 45% retired earlier than expected and another 46% retired “about when planned”. I’m still not sure what that means. The methodology of EBRI’s reports are on the last page. Nevertheless, the article you referred me to was VERY informative.

@silverpreping All you had to do was send me a link to the source you read that confirmed what was in the article. it would have been easy if you had actually done the research. I, on the other hand, gave exact instructions on where to find data that refutes what you said in my reply to solarDeviant. I even provided a brief interpretation of the data in my comment. I’m through with you, I just hope other people will look at the EBRI study and not be so alarmed about “expected” retirement age.
